No Dromore players suspended as not one is seen throwing a punch in the videos. McGurk hit a Dromore player from behind without any provocation and about 20 seconds later with the player still on his knees recovering, sneaks in and hits him again. Suspension deserved.

trouble at St Brigids game at the weekend means that there are now 3 counties with bad manners. tisk tisk...

Absolutely no comparison between a few angry supporters roaring at the ref and a man being hurt to the extent that he required surgery to reattach a part of his body.
You don't seem to get this up there.
True, there are incidents of indiscipline all over the country but the sheer level of violence in Tyrone defies belief.

go and catch yourself on - 'the sheer level of violence' - presumably you and Mike f**king sheehy have been working on a league table this last 5 years or so? Bollox. Antrim is thuggish as f**k, as is derry - maybe Tyrone find themselves in the spotlight, but in no way are they offering a level of violence, that 'defies belief'.....f**k sake

you really are an angry foul mouthed baboon aren't you. It must be the natural brit hooligan in you coming out.

The problem with lads like you and Nally Stand is that you take too many handouts from the British state. You feel guilty about it so you come on here acting the uber-republicans or go to football matches and start hammering the shite out of each other to prove what great Gaels you are.

Stop taking the Queens shilling and being such britboys and maybe, someday, we might acknowledge you as proper Irishmen.
As opposed to the German's handouts. ;D

I counted 8 on the Dromore team who've played for Tyrone at some stage. I have included county minor Sludden, could do a future job if Philip Jordan goes.
8 have played senior with Tyrone, plus Sludden and Conor O'Neill have played Minor.

Clonoe v Derrylaghun  4.30pm Sat Oct 8th , Dungannon, Dromore v Omagh 4.30pm Sunday Oct 9TH Pomeroy , bothgames preceeded by reserve championship finals .

If Clonoe reserves win their semi tomorrow afternoon surely they'll not be asked to play in final on same day as the seniors are in their semi. Although stranger things have happened.

Same thing applies to county final. IF (and it's a big IF achairde so I'm not being arrogant here!!) Clonoe get to county final will our minors be expected to play their final on the same undercard??
Would think it would be up to the club to decide, but think it would be harsh to ask the minors to give up their big day. In 92 Dromore had a player play the minor game and start the senior game.

I would say there wasnt to many outside of Dromore who were sorry to see Ward getting filled!
I think alot of people are being sore on Gormley. He is the target for a serious amount of abuse himself.
Congrats to Clonoe. They used the bench alot wiser than we did. Ciaran McAleer and Mark Donnely couldnt even run in extra time but were kept on the field. Credit to both sets of players for serving up such an enjoyable match, despite Fergal Dalys attempts to ruin the match.
I would say they are probably the two best defences in Tyrone but both teams are missing that 1 forward who would get 5-6 points from play in a game
Would say Ward deserved the lever, but what he or any other player for that matter does not deserve is to get kicked on the ground after he has been felled.

Like a previous poster, as an ulsterman started out hoping for a donegal win, but by halftime hoped Dublin could beat them.
Maybe we should send them to New Zealand though as the Irish rugby team had more forward passes against England on Saturday.

I was very glad to see Sean C stepping it up a gear today, thought he'd been quiet up to this but he, and the other 2 Moy men, were the pick of the team in the first half. Colm Cavanagh must have his starting place sewn up now - some great fielding in the middle, and how he stumbled and ricocheted his way through about five defenders to fist over a point shows that sometimes pure persistence pays off.
It's the third match in a row where Tyrone have had a stormer of a second half.  Mulligan looked in fine form when he came on. Glad to see Stevie fit to play some part, even if he didn't get touching the ball.
Sean played well, but still not working hard enough off the ball for my liking.

Carlin for Swift. Justy for D Harte. Cassidy For Hub. Colm Cav for Dooher. Coney for S O'Neill

SS, where to stay for a couple of Tyrone girls coming down for a bit of craic afterwards?
Longford arms hotel or viewmont house is very good b&b.

Have to agree with Heaneys article yesterday! I've train for McGuiness and you could always tell he was going to be a county manager. He's very intense and very methodical.
You might laugh at this but a few years ago he came down to our club to give a presentation on a role he would like to fulfill for our club over a few years. It was actually what some would call director of football - he wanted to come in and analyse every match on video from U-16 to Senior, make all managers accountible to someone, concentrate on getting the best out of players from youth to seniors using weight programmes and psycholgy. It was very impressive however it was ruled out on cost issues. On hindsight it may have been worth paying him than some of the senior managers we've had in recent years.

I think this type of thorughness could spell trouble for Tyrone on Sunday!
25,000 issues is what I heard.

Ulster teams are beaten before they even take to the field against Tyrone.
Give them far too much respect and retreat into their shells.
If Kildare, Cork or Dublin draw Tyrone they will horse into them from the start.
Usually Monaghan don't! That's what's surprising, 3 years ago they almost caught them in the final too.
It just looks like Monaghan had a very bad day at the office.

Can't see Dublin horsing into them! They'll not lay a finger on them. It's a decent Dublin team, but early in the life cycle for that!

Dublin are a poor team. Yesterdays game was terrible. 2 bad teams.
