Kerry (NFL v Mayo) - Brendan Kealy; Paul Murphy, Mark Griffin, Shane Enright; Peter Crowley, Aidan O'Mahony, Marc Sé; Anthony Maher, David Moran; Stephen O'Brien, Daithí Casey, Donnchadh Walsh; Barry John Keane, Paul Geaney, James O'Donoghue.

3 crokes men start with casey captaining the team on his first start, tricky game to call

Not a tricky game to call looking at that Kerry line up.

Yeah. Lop-sided Mayo victory.
Take your tongue out of the Rhubarbs' anus ya plaidhcín. :-[

The accomodation for 400 people makes it the ideal venus for the Railway and Sigerson Cups.

You have Russia supporting the Syrian government and close ties to Iran.
You have Turkey now operating troops in Syria.
Of course Islamic groups, Lebanon and Israel are all factors there too.
Turkey's less healthy relationship with Israel and a destablised Egypt.

If Russia decide to send troops into Ukraine do the EU and USA stand back like happened with Georgia? In the very very unlikely circumstance Europe and the Americans did the same surely that would leave Japan and Taiwan majorly exposed to China and a new Korean War more likely with less chance of US, Aussie etc. troops on the ground.

If French sent troops and got dragged in, they would surely pull stablising troops out of Africa. If the Brits got dragged in, would the Falklands fall!
If all the above happens put ye're money on the Rhubarbs to win Sam.

Independent News and Media's role in this hasn't got enough attention.

Stephen Rae, the group editor, is a former editor of the Garda Review and sacked journalist Gemma O'Doherty for doing her job properly.

Paul Williams has spread misinformation and downright lies throughout the course of this story in attempt to cover up for the Gardai and the Government. A mouthpiece for the establishment of the very worst kind. Paul Reynolds of RTE is now doing likewise.

This is serious journalistic malpractice.
That fcukin newspaper group have been a disgrace for nearly 20 years.
Their support for fcukbag Bertie including their infamous front page editorial in 1997 castigating the outgoing Govt for taxing the daylights out of people, their total support of the whole property/builder/banker bubble, their total anti Irish, anti anything remotely socially orientated and of course their whole spreading Garda (mis)information is appalling.
The change of control from O'Reilly to O'Brien just means replacing one egotistical powerful rich ba5tard for another.
Sadly they are the biggest selling newspapers in the State :-[
Just goes to show -control the media and you've got it sorted.

When did "ever" start ladeens? 1998? (or 2003 in Tyrone's case??)
I presume Kildare's best EVER would have been from 1927/28.

Shows how little the Brit public thought of their soldiers when a horse became a hero.

It bores the balls off me tbh. It doesn't matter who wins it.
+1.

So why are you even on this thread if it bores you so much?
Because I can if I want to and secondly so that I can annoy lúders .....

So, anyone not agreeing with you that the Sigerson is shit is a "lúder"?  ::)
No.
I would have thought that a Kerryman would be cute enough to see who I mean. ;)

Well as far as a United Ireland ...... If Ireland had a referendum about the North becoming part of the Republic
I think we can take it as read that there will be a different set up entirely when/if an All Ireland State comes about.

I suspect the Connacht lads decided to give it a right go this time for a change and to end the long gap since 1969.
Or maybe it's the effect of the black cardeen

So the concensus from North of the pig's ditch is that Ulster played very badly and that a lot of them were tired.
Does it ever occur to them bies that maybe just maybe that there are a lot of good footballers in Connacht who played well and won the game pulling up.
I suppose that doesn't fit the stereotype though.

Threads like this our most famous son Dermot Earley will nearly always get our only mention, fair fcuks to Lar,Rosfan for giving O'Malley a mention but its a shame the likes of Aidan Brady,Harry Keegan,Pat Lindsay,Danny Murray,Gerry Connellan,Eamonn Boland,Jimmy Murray,Tony McManus,Bill Carlos,Phelim Murray etc get ignored even though all were outstanding footballers.

Keegan was mentioned only days ago in a similar thread and O'Malley is hardly an obscure figure in GAA lore, Ross.

See no mention of Francie in the above either..
Where does it say team in that y'eejitín

Always thought Derek Dougan was a very good roscommon player, or was the long range point against mayo in the 91 final the reason i remember so much when thinking of roscommon players, still have that game on tape, might point
Derek Dougan was a soccer player.
Derek Duggan was a Ros player who was magic at 19 but injuries and playing on poor teams meant he faded away.
As for Francheen Grehan being in the running for best ever Ros player - even for Syfín that's some sh1te.
( don't take it personally Freddie- I always admired your spirit -but let's have realism)

€10 for D3 games with no discount if bought in advance.
However you can go to any part of the ground and most grounds have enough cover/seats for the average D3 crowds.
