Throwing a hurl is manly and hurling refs would be castigated if they did anything about it.

39k registered players in a population of 1,300,000 - about 3%. Sligo has approx 5k in a population of circa 60,000 - about 8.3%.

Ros has 1,600 more than Sligo I see.
Populations are Ros 64,544. Sligo 65,535.
Feckin soccer.....

Sounds like the Dublin media campaign is swinging into action to
1 get Keegan and
2 switch attention away from O'Gara.

Yeah right.
Haiti keep winning World Cups????

Other way around, out of the top 10 most populated countries in the world, 1 of them has won a world cup. Just a small example, im sure there is better comparisons out there.

China and India didn't do soccer much.
After all Antrim is the second biggest population County but haven't done anything in football since around 1910.
For one very good reason.

5
Only Galway Mayowestros and Tyrone as well as Dublin have won U21s this decade.
Most Counties can't afford to have 45 on a panel over the Winter.

6
I bet the Mayo Co Board won't be apologising to Rock unlike our crowd.
How can you stop a team playing keep ball?
Can't pass the ball backwards?

The 1.3 million people in Dublin and especially the 150,000 males between 18 and 35 will stop Kerry's 135,000 people and their 12,500  male 18 to 35 year olds dominating.

Will Club minor be U17 as well as County?
We have u 12,14,16 and Minor.
If we have to go U17 then it makes sense to go 13 and 15.

Calm down Sligoman2.
I for once hoped the Rhubarbs would win on Sunday and think it's tough on them to lose 4 AI Finals in 6 years 3 of them by a point.
However I reserve the right to slag them and have banter especially in a thread where one of their own is saying  tongue in cheek -thank God we lost.

Excellent post by AZ  earlier.
GAA HQ should be looking at the crisis of 3 Eastern Counties with big populations 2 of whom spend most of their time in Div 4 and the other not much higher.
Antrim (est Nationalist pop 200k+), Louth 128,884 and Wicklow 142,425.

But on the law of averages Dublin's 25 will be better than the rest.
Their 21 were better than Mayowestros' on Sunday once again.
