GAA Discussion / Re: Why is Camoige not called hurling?

Why do camogie goalkeepers wear the same jersey as everyone else on their team ?
Probably because they don't get any special privileges e.g touching the ball on the ground like the football and hurleyshtuff?

The hurley crowd are leaving their "League" the same format again next year so I presume there won't be changes to their Championship for a few more years at least.
As for the "Super 8" they've been approved at Congress.
Only difference for Club only players is that they should be out of their Championships earlier. Should help a lot of Junior soccer clubs mind you.

If/when the 6 Cos (and the 26) vote to reunify/amalgamate/come together it will be a matter for the EU to decide if the North can come in.
It won't matter 2 fcuks what the English/English and Welsh/British Government thinks.
An independent Scotland may or may not have to apply but again that would be for the EU to decide.
No doubt the SNP want another Referendum before Scotland is taken out if the EU.

The Black card was approved at Congress 3 or 4 months before the Cavanagh foul.
Why do people keep saying it was introduced because of Cavanagh ? ??

We could have saved another 100k if we had cleared the other pair out as well and appointed any club manager in Roscommon.
They couldn't do any worse anyway and could be just given vouched expenses and a few free dinners.

Ruth Dudley Cuntbubble is a professional contrarian getting well paid by INM to spout her anti-nationalist/republican cac.  FFS she recently referred to the RUC as "a fine police force" forced into the dustbin of history by those awful Shinners, totally ignoring its completely one-sided role. I love the way she throws in all these anecdotes about how people come up to here, almost scared, looking round to see no one is watching, to tell her everything she says and writes is absolutely true ... a complete and utter fantasist, who is not peddling her shite out of any principle, but because it pays well and she's fixed herself a wee niche in the market along with that other odious fuckwit Eoghan Harris
+1.

Oliver has some love affair going with Johneen Evans.
If he's that good I presume he's been snapped up by some other County.
As for McStay McHale. .... major disappointment to put it mildly.
No game plan,  no defence strategy, no sign of improvement or settled 3,6,8,9,14 after 6 NFL games, opposite g forwards getting loads of shooting practice, lot of better players sitting at home.....
And now we're hearing waffle about 3 year plans.
Got news for you Kevin - you're half way through it already and we're regressing at a rate of knots.

Well Lar - I needless to say believe we kept the wrong half if the pair.
I won't replay the whole saga of the shenanigans that went on but we are rightly fckd now anyway.

I'm tired, sickened and embarrassed.
To think we're paying 2 grand a week for that.
McStay and McHale  need to apologise to the Ros Co Board, the players on and off the panel and the supporters for putting a crowd of unfit unconditioned light gasúns out in Division 1 football.
They've been ate, bet sick and have their confidence and morale shattered by 5 bad defeats out if 6. Point difference now minus 49 ffs!
