Two poor teams. Might win Ulster but not much else.

Strange Yellow there. Good shoulder, then a Derry player comes in and starts a scuffle.

Not that it matters, Armagh comfortable.

Why exactly are they a disgrace. No affiliation to them or anything but, if your refering to the offaly and louth connection, the "offaly man" at midfield is actually a Dub through and through. John Coughlan, an exceptional midfielder was just never considered by Piller Caffrey (like so many other classy Dublin footballers) so he decided to play for his fathers county. He player Minor and U21 football for Dublin.

Now most teams in the Dublin SFC have players from other counties on their team.  Vincents won with a Kerry man at midfield a few years ago.

Another inept Refereeing performance from Ó Cnámha.

Great example of this:

3 Brawls.
1. Dooher chases a Derry player, charges in with the head- Goes down (typical Dooher) Yellow card for Derry player.
2. McGukian hits Cavenagh off the ball, Yellow card at most. He gets Red. Mass Brawl, including a large number of clear puches fro Tyrone players. No cards.
3. A rediculous high tackle on Paddy Bradlley, No Free, Tyrone score. Eoin Bradley Booked for his reaction to his brothers near-beheading.

Its no wonder Tyrone do so well with all this protection.

And for the record, I have no love for either of these teams, but just wanted to voice my opinion.

Back from the match, just disgusted, the ref played for a draw, handed Kerry like 3 or so incredibly soft frees. That said the I've never seen a team throw a game away like Cork did.
What a joke, ref playing for a replay yet again.

Kerry Cork x2 last year ???  ???  ???

Surely 8 points in as many minutes or throwing away a 9 point Lead after halftime is worse!

I agree, the Ref did play extra injury time, but in fairness he should have announced 4 minutes after all the stoppages anyway.

Having said that, the last free was definitly a free, shoulder in the chest. The penalty call was correct- push in the back.
But the ref was horrible, for both sides. So inconsistant (i.e Tommy griffin being Raped to the ground in front of goal)

We were poor, didn't deserve the draw. The Tyronies are right, we wouldn't have been within 10 points of them even.
Gooch was abismal. Darragh is so unfit. Quirke was atrocious! At fault for at least 1-3 due to his lack of pace.
The penalty... what can I say? Just awful.

The Positives: Backs were v.good.
Kenenlly looks like he's settling.

Referee: Yes he gave us an extra minute to score the free but take all this into account.
It was never a 45! O'Neill took 73 seconds to take the 45. When Kerry won the first free from the kickout, Kerrigan ran away with the ball taking up another 15 seconds.
Then Noel O'Leary wasted another 20 seconds, standing in front of Sheehan, trying to put him off.
It all adds up. Anyway, with the 2 Kerry injuries in the second half, and all the subs, surely there should have been more then 2 minutes.
And finally, its AT LEAST 2 MINUTES, thats announced. Its down to the ref's disgression!

EDIT: As for Galvin "kneeling" on O'Connors head... would ye ever feck off!
Ye are to influenced by TV3's coverage, especially Peter "the unbelieveablelysuperdeedooperfantasticlybrilliantlygreat"!
His knee was on his head for a second and he instantly took it off. Im not saying he's an Angel or anything, but this incident is a thing of nothing.

Will it be like last September Kerry called it a game to decide team of the decade an when the lost again to Tyrone they decided it didn't show who was the best team  ::)

Well unless Tyrone win the AI this year, Kerry will be team of the decade.
i hope tyrone win this years all ireland and i dont give a sh*te who anybody thinks has been the team of the decade. As long as tyrone are the team of 2009

Well done. I can't believe im  agreeing with a Tyronie, but thats really all that matters Champions 2009.

As for the Article, i hope ye all know all Kerrymen are not as disillusioned as this.

However, this talk of Tyrone being the "Team of the decade" because they beat Kerry 3 times, is rediculous.
Tyrone have been beaten by some average teams this decade and they drew with Sligo in 2004(?)...
Teams change a lot in 10 years. Tactics change. Tyrone have been a fantastic team these last 10 years as have Kerry, but to class either better then the other is stupid.

Glad to see people against this clip. On another GAA forum that i frequent, they seem to think Darragh is fair game because he's
a) From Kerry
and b) Lost the All Ireland final!.

Pat Kenny is a plank and Darragh has more talent in his little finger then that eejit.

CIT deserved to win. felt sorry for DIT. was talking to their physio and he told me they were decimated with injuries.

Barry Moran (Mayo) hamstring
Paul Brogan dublin cruciate knee injury in the semi on fri
Paul Flynn Dublin suspected fracture to his ankle after 15 minutes of the final
Colin Daly Dublin quad injury, started the game but was badly hampered, hobbled through the last 15 minutes of the 1st half, subbed at half time.

all the above are on their senior county panels, except brogan who was only recovering from a cruciate injury, but was on the dublin team this time last year when he got injured for the first time.

throw in Mark Vaughan not playing and some other lad i'd never heard of that he mentioned to me and its a lot to have to deal with. All the above players are forwards too he said so things really went against them over the last week, they ended up playing a couple of corner backs in the forwards.. one of whom actually scored two points.

Yeah, we started the second half with:
Donnacha Reilly a CHB playing CHF
Daniel Graham a corner back playing wing forward.
Niall Coughlan a Midfielder Playing Full Forward
and Darragh Breathnach a Corner Back playing Corner Forward.

It showed when we got to the 45, no one was confident enough to have a shot. With the wind, that killed us. Also Daniel Gouldings freetaking! What an amazing talent, the free's may have been soft but boy did he take advantage.
As for the Referee, stats don't lie. 8 free kicks in kickable position for CIT. 3 to DIT. 3 or 4 Yellow Cards to DIT. None to CIT.
Not saying that some of our yellow cards wern't deserved. Niall O'Shea and Darragh Breathnach hit their guys late and deserved the cards but a lot of CIT fouls went unpunished.

As for Aiden O'Shea being on the Kerry panel. I don't think so. He was on the U-21 panel last year at Wing-Forward.
Interesting to note 12 of the CIT players had U-21 All Ireland medels. Class Team and Well Done to them.

So disappointed. Great start from DIT. 1-3 to 0-1.
Maurice Deegan gave us f-all after that. I mean we kept Kerrigan, Goulding, O'Neill and Cahilane to 3 points from play!!! But 8 free's for Goulding. CIT went to ground as soon as they won the ball, and Deegan blew everytime. Having said that they missed 3 goal chances and could well have won by more.
Gutted, but will be back next year.

PS Well done INDIANA, good good day for you. Spend it wisely.  :D  :D  :D

Ten point hiding UCD.

I understand Vaughan will feature tomorrow

Really ? The management must have been reading the board !
You understand wrong. Vaughan will 100% "not be featuring tomorrow".
He didn't travel with the squad. Bad form all round both Crokes and Vaughan for not standing up for himself.

Not sure I agree with the increse. Yes it will discourage people from appealing ban's in the future, but he doesn't miss any extra games, so its a bit pointless. 8 weeks is harsh, just taking in the "grabbing" incident. However if they were taking into account his actions throughout the game, including the mouthing and punching Marc Ó Sé then by all means, increse the ban.
