Na Glinntí Glasa

Both games were fixed for the same day.

We tried to get the camogie moved to the Saturday but couldn't get agreement from Loughgiel so it had to stay on the sunday.

It means Corrigan Park for 1:30pm and then straight down the road to Portglenone for 4pm for the camogie.

A long day out for supporters that should of been avoided with some forward planning.

or a trophy lift after extra time, everyone be on the westlink !

Why 4.00 for a game on a pitch that has good lights ?

I thought the Camogie Final was fixed for Sarsfields on Sunday at 4.30pm to avoid people rushing from Corrigan to the Camogie finals.

What changed there?

They'll make the Camogie in plenty of time 😛

I thought I saw that on the website also. Would have made far more sense.

They be able to leave at half time you reckon?

Hectic

Sounds like a fair bit of inflexibility on display.

I never get why teams or committees get so precious about having to move if it is in the best interests of a lot of people likely to be in attendance.

Given the football is on national television I would have thought the Camogie would have accommodated accordingly in this instance.

Would have expected football to accommodate if it was the other way round.

Hopefully everyone gets from A to B safely.

Have any of you been to Sarsfields recently. The pitch isn't enclosed so doesn't adhere to regulations. Also on the far side where there are some seats in various conditions you have to look through a catch net to view the pitch. With the crowd that goes to these finals where are you going to put the spectators if there is only one side available?

Stillwater2

Pitch is enclosed. Fencing at the terracing.

NorthAntrimSaff

What game is in Sarsfields?

JfC final down for Davitt park? Pitch isn't even full size ffs. Surely anywhere is better than there

It's been a few since I've been there to be fair.

Sarsfields is a terrible venue for any sort of crowd, can only watch from one side & it's in the middle of an estate. Think of the parking

Many clubs would be glad to have the facilities we have. Parking is an issue for a big crowd, but there are plenty of options such as schools, chapels etc if the need ever arose for a serious crowd. God forbid youd have a 5 minute walk to the ground. I don't know how many would go to a camogie final, but we'd be able to handle it if needed. Terracing on 1 side isn't ideal but it let's us have the 2 smaller pitches for underage games etc for the other 364 days a year. Unfortunately being in the middle of the city limits what us and our neighbours can do, and pitches are at a premium in the city. If you have ever been to the old bear pit pre 1996,what we have now is nirvana in comparison!

You aren't being scored on your facilities here, but your suitability to hold a big game.

It just isn't suitable in my opinion
