Rumours Decky Smyth and Sammy were touch and go on Sunday evening. Those are two smashing players and provide a lot of ball winning and energy that has got Dunloy to the final. Dunloy will need them both in top form for this one.

Hard to know when a team is peaking physically and mentally. Neither club pushed themselves too far in the league, so physically both still have plenty of gas. Id say without doubt Dunloy would be in far better shape mentally had they beaten Loughgiel. A team on a proper run could take some stopping. Question is, what will the defeat take out of them mentally. Will there now be a fear of losing both?

Its an intriguing final, both clubs there on merit. Can Cargin continue to do what they do, close out games no matter, or will Dunloy hunger and excellent football set up drive them over the line.

Expect the biggest crowd at a final for quite some time.

I can't see that tbh with TG4 involved, I'd say a lot of people will be content to watch it at home.

plus the 15 quid ahead too. Not sure of the weather but if it gives it wet, tg4 wil be a better option for the neutral

I think the weather is to be okay in fairness. I haven't decided what to do. No dog in the race so I'd be looking at 40 quid in tickets for me, the wife and a 17 year old with the 2 younger ones free. It's a 35 mile drive roughly so TG4 probably the smarter option but there is a part of me that fancies taking it in in person. If you're Cargin or Dunloy you'll pay whatever obviously but just think a lot of neutrals will give it a pass.

Be a huge crowd as both teams well supported I would say two best supported teams in the county.

I wont lie, Sundays defeat did leave an ill feeling in the gut walking out of Cushendalls pitch. Its yet another championship that we have let go. i dont doubt the players walked off that pitch in the pits themselves.

If you had of said to be that evening, 'ah here sure you have the football to look forward to' you'd of gotten some look from our supporters 

Will the defeat on Sunday have dented them, maybe mentally but not physically. The players are fitter than I've ever seen them with how much they train week on week. They are a seriously talented bunch of lads and the dedication they put into the club they are joy to watch regardless of what way results go.

Sunday is bit of a one off for the club as we have the senior football & camogie final on the same day. It will mean a long day out for people, a lot of diesel and money spent on the gates to support both teams.

Both games were fixed for the same day.

We tried to get the camogie moved to the Saturday but couldn't get agreement from Loughgiel so it had to stay on the sunday.

It means Corrigan Park for 1:30pm and then straight down the road to Portglenone for 4pm for the camogie.

A long day out for supporters that should of been avoided with some forward planning.

I thought the Camogie Final was fixed for Sarsfields on Sunday at 4.30pm to avoid people rushing from Corrigan to the Camogie finals.

What changed there?
