I think it breaks down more along the lines of moderates v extremists.

Unfortunately it is always the way with these things that moderates don't speak up often enough and we cede the floor to the extremists too easily. It is this not speaking up that can lead to tragedy.

I'm just trying to get to the bottom of why people like you hate the US and Israel so much and think that they are to blame for everything that happens in the middle east and elsewhere. This demonization is not logical and it can lead to more seriouis hatreds. There are enough mullahs preaching hatred of the US and Israel so we don't need more of this kind of rhetoric.

Israel has a right to exist. The US is not the root of all evil. I think this are the bare minimum that one should expect of reasonable people before any debate can begin. Unfortunately , even this basic standard is not being met on here. Until there is some movement away from this extreme position then I will continue to point this out.
