Quote from: tyrone08 on September 18, 2026, 09:44:37 PMJesus lads use are complaining about a ref who had minimal impact on the game. Sending off was completely correct. Not often I defend refs but use are having a laugh with this one

Not defending it was yellow card offence, but sparky gave two frees to edendork when clonoe were looking to extra time, one free in edendorks half for a good 50/50 tackle and then one in clonoe's half for a great tackle by the Rahilly men. If you watch it right you can see the simple things..

When were they looking to extra time? Once the sending off happened clonoe were out of it and never got close

Quote from: White Goodman on September 18, 2026, 10:14:39 PMSparky shown up for what he is tonight, a fit shane meehan. Couple of very bad calls tonight against clonoe who can feel aggrieved. He embodies the arrogant ciaran reputation

I'd will like Eannetta in the semi finals as good ref who goes by the book and lets things go now and again. I heard in mc dades shop this morning that Hurson has pulled himself of all games this year ??

If that is true then you certainly couldn't blame him. When he's refereeing inter county games he knows he has competent officials on the line with him. When refereeing a Tyrone club game he has to do it along with officials who struggle to know the rules of the game as we all know.

Good to see you have come out from hiding easttyrone23 after your clubs embarrassing appeal. You were very quiet there for a week or two. You couldn't resist a pop at those damn officials that unjustly knocked out 'the east tyrone brigade'. Had noting to do with letting a 6pt lead slip in 10 mins  :-\

Now White, show us on the doll where Galbally touched you

7pts I think! There's dunging the togs and then there's that.

Following an extensive four-year intervention, it appears that Kevin Madden has concluded his role as of last night.( County Job offer )

Can anyone confirm ?

Errigal Ciaran ( the so called parish club ) for one  don't have the problem of giving out thousands of pounds for a man for no outcome ( Could a club member not get the same results at less expense? )

Crazy stuff for a hobby and something has to change across the board

Sparky refereed Coalisland v Eglish last year in a game that had a field fight which was widely spread on WhatsApp across the province. He didn't see fit to dish out any yellow or red cards in that particular game and was rewarded with the county final. That is the standard our referees have to get to unfortunately.

Edendork will relish a free crack at someone while being written off entirely for the game, you never know with the county men they have. I would fancy Carrickmore, Lough and Trillick in the other 3, hoping for a Carrickmore Loughmacrory final as it would be some occasion

Quote from: the prodigy on September 18, 2026, 09:43:00 PMReferees in this county are an absolute disgrace. Look at the line up of idiots doing games this weekend! It has started off tonight there with a horror show from Loughran lets see if any of the rest of them can top that. It would take something special because thats as bad a display as I have ever seen.

This is a decent effort here in Pomeroy today....

tyroneStatto

Entertaining game for a neutral despite the referee. Shocking.

GAAtrojan

Pomeroy surely has to be looked at as a venue, great facilities but the fact there is always a gale force wind destroys games. Don't get me wrong the game today was entertaining but when your against the wind it's just a case of damage limitations.

Totally wrecks the game. Players don't train all year to play total opposite styles in each half due to gale winds

Are we actually excusing that implosion by donaghmore on the weather? Have they never played with a wind blowing?

Sure we will bring the replay inside and the boys will be nice and warm and wont get dirty ffs.

Soft club, carrickmore to win the replay.

Carmen fans were not happy. Like last year Vs Lough funny how that works...

In any case Donaghmore should have been home and hosed. There was serious breeze and the flares set off by carmens youth brigade left smoke over pitch into the stand.

Players having to breathe that shite is unacceptable.

Thought Donaghmore were through but Carmen are hard to put away....why no extra time ?
"Cheeky Charlie McKenna..."

donaghmore players were finally about to become men, maybe next day
