Lot of people talking tripe on this forum about referees this past couple weeks. Should be grateful we have referees to play the game. Sparky Loughran was great tonight and played the game as fair as he could

Sparky Loughran absolutely atrocious tonight, there is no way he is considered of the top referees in Tyrone. You would get that kind of standard in Div3b not in on a big day in senior championship..

Referees in this county are an absolute disgrace. Look at the line up of idiots doing games this weekend! It has started off tonight there with a horror show from Loughran lets see if any of the rest of them can top that. It would take something special because thats as bad a display as I have ever seen.

Anyone who is blaming the ref tonight needs to stop watching the game as they clearly haven't a clue what's going on out there. Imagine them saying that it public would be laughed at for the idiots that they are.

Not defending it was yellow card offence, but sparky gave two frees to edendork when clonoe were looking to extra time, one free in edendorks half for a good 50/50 tackle and then one in clonoe's half for a great tackle by the Rahilly men. If you watch it right you can see the simple things..

I'd will like Eannetta in the semi finals as good ref who goes by the book and lets things go now and again. I heard in mc dades shop this morning that Hurson has pulled himself of all games this year ??

These men blaming sparky are while quick to forget that sparky gave two wrong decisions on the sideline opposite the stand leading to the rahillys first two goals. It swings in roundabouts. The rahillys are done and dusted and they'll have to suck it up now!!

Edendork were two up when Clonoe had a penalty call for a clear trip denied, McClure then sent off the following play for two soft yellows.

Just chipping in to clarify that all these games still go to a replay if level at the end of normal time. They do not go to extra time.

Have heard a few people saying about games going to extra time this week but that's not right

Do you watch any football yourself?  He reffed the Loughmacrory v Dungannon replay in Healy Park last Thursday

When were they looking to extra time? Once the sending off happened clonoe were out of it and never got close

If that is true then you certainly couldn't blame him. When he's refereeing inter county games he knows he has competent officials on the line with him. When refereeing a Tyrone club game he has to do it along with officials who struggle to know the rules of the game as we all know.

Good to see you have come out from hiding easttyrone23 after your clubs embarrassing appeal. You were very quiet there for a week or two. You couldn't resist a pop at those damn officials that unjustly knocked out 'the east tyrone brigade'. Had noting to do with letting a 6pt lead slip in 10 mins
