Aye finished it the other night. Preposterous stuff (as are the books) but entertaining enough.

Was waiting on a post on this, are they based on the books? Have read most of them

Aye this one based on The Devils Star. I read them years ago buy remembered precisely nothing. It's worth a spin if you're looking for a new series.

Ronnie

which is the 5th novel in the series which leaves it open to sequels & prequels.  A tad far-fetched but enjoyable nonetheless.

Ronnie

also I thought the movie The Snowman with Michael Fassbender playing Hole was crap

Yeah, thought Fassbender was the perfect match for Hole though, but it lacked something, the book was better

Should I Marry A Murderer was a good watch on Netflix.

I was unfamiliar with the story: two Scottish brothers ran over a cyclist on a charity run, left him to die in their barn and buried him on the Highlands estate they worked on; then one of them meets and quickly gets engaged to a Glasgow doctor, tells her about it, and she's left with the psychological dilemma of whether to turn them in and give the cyclists family closure, and the aftermath of her decision and actions.

Does not paint a nice picture of the callousness of the police and justice system towards traumatized witnesses.

I binged the 2 season of The Pitt.  I believe it was recommended on here. I'm not usually into medical dramas but I gave this a go anyway.  I'm glad I did.  It's a fantastic show that moves at such a pace.  I like the "24" style hour by hour breakdown.

There is loads of gore that on occasion I struggled with, but I suppose that's a good thing.  It is so realistic. Plenty of pain and suffering, that tugs at the heartstrings, with some things that unfortunately many of us can relate to.

The last few episodes of the 1st series were hectic and brilliant.

Milltown Row2

Cocaine Quarterback on prime I thought was interesting

From the earth to the moon

No idea how I had never seen this or even heard of it before as Im into that sort of thing. It's from 1998. 12 part dramatisation of the mercury/gemini/apollo programmes. Very good so far.

Legends on Netflix, about UK Customs tackling Heroin in 90s, is pretty good - a few episodes in, very entertaining not in the great category.

Watching 30 Rock again as well, holds up well.

Watched a couple of episodes of Legends last night. Agree with your review - it's not The Wire but it shifts along nicely with a good cast and the soundtrack is a great blast from past.
