Oneill cup - Trillick/ Errigal..
Paddy Cullen - Pomeroy/Naomh Eoghan
Pat Darcy - fintona/ tatts

D1 league - Trillick
D2 league - wide open. I'll go with Greencastle
3A- fintona
3B- derg

Relegation;
1- Coalisland & Moortown
D2- Cookstown & Beragh

Good list, i agree with all bar 3B, Tatts have to be certain to win this one with the lads back. Cant see naomh eoghan anywhere near competing with top teams in division 2.

That Naomh Eoghan team could surprise people. they had a few good results against big teams last year if i remember. Gave our lads a right seeing to in newtown must have been 20 points in it. That Mayse lad away to Dergview as well, they might get a full year out of him if hes stepping back a bit in the ground ball
Mayse does more against newtown than he does add to them. Watched them a few times last year and he gives a lot of abuse to his own players. Know doubt he is a quality player but i dont think he will add much to them this year. Their youth would be the biggest issue for me. They havent added much in the past 2 year to the panel. Big players like devine, mcsorley and kevy gallgher will be key for them again this year.

i would'nt be too sure about their youth you could be right. They are still a very young side apart from one or two

Is Gallagher not retired and taking Eskra? If so that's a big miss for them

Gallagher is like Benjamin button, i dont think there any truth in the eskra shout to be honest.

mayse will be a big impact if they can get him for the full season. Mayse and mcsorley in any forward line would be hard to stop

1 of the Arkinson brothers from Eskra and Ryan Cassidy from Errigal taking Eskra

Oneill cup - Clonoe/Coalisland/Trillick (Don't want to jinx Donaghmore)
Paddy Cullen - Pomeroy/Beragh

D1 league - Trillick
D2 league - Moy/Beragh

Relegation
1- Omagh Ardboe Eglish
D2- Aghayaran & Derrylaughan

Some interesting opinions on league/championship winners and relegation contenders.
Carrickmore will improve on last year, Donaghmore will too, I don't see Omagh or Ardboe as relegation contenders, nor do I see Clonoe or Coalisland as being in the picture for either league or championship, difficult to look by Errigal for championship honours.
At intermediate it will be interesting to see how Clogher react to having endured a long season, great to see them bringing success to the club.
I've seen Beragh mentioned as potential winners and relegation contenders, I think its somewhere in the middle, Naomh Eoghan have 2 or 3 players in the forward line but defensively they struggle, as mentioned underage hasn't been great lately so supply is limited, potential relegation contenders along with Aghyaran, who have similar underage issues, regular grade 4 participants. Greencastle and Moy as mentioned by others could be in the running for honours.

Are Cookstown serious, only promoted and have a call out for a 3rds team!!

What would you know. Mayse and Sean South will ensure we do they double this year!

True, what does anyone really know, we can only offer opinions, I based my opinion on the odd time I've seen them play and from listening to what individuals from the club have to say.
I could well be wrong, wouldn't be the first time...

Going by some people in this chat if you dont have a load of youth coming through this year you must be relegated. Clogher and cookstown will go back down. Naomh Eoghan will be right up there.

I agree that not having youth coming through for one or two years isn't a clear sign that you will struggle, but when you get into 3, 4, 5 years then it's inevitable that it will put serious pressure on your existing senior team. Newtownstewart in years gone by were punching above their weight at underage, grade 1 and 2 teams, credit where credit is due.

Three players in the current Naomh Eoghan senior team over the age of 30. only a few over the age of 27 and most are under the age of 25. If they can even bring two or three out of their under ages through at each age group i think they'll be fine

Any truth that Corless lad has transferred back to yourselves from enniskillen? Another boost for Naomh Eoghan if so

In hiding

It's kinda mad how all you lads/lad come back at the same time.

We will never know the answer to this but my guess is Clonoe would have put up a much better showing than Glenullin if they had made it through Ulster.

Clonoe definitely took their eye off the ball against the Cavan champions.

Unfortunately for Clonoe to reach an AI final you have to be on it every game in the championship, cant let the eye of the ball once as you will get punished for it which they did.

Third time lucky in 2027  ;D  ;D . Cavan system is equally as flawed as the Kerry one so were playing a Division 1 Cavan team. Although Clonoe probably consider themselves a Senior team as well. Glenullin's final performance very similar to Clonoe's Ulster Semi Final performance, just never hit the levels they were capable off.
