If the rumour mill is to be believed he will be in a Craigbane shirt soon. Hasn't trained or played for Swatragh since Derry season ended.

Wildweasel74

Sure he lives in Swatragh, hardly drive to Craigbane. Is Oisin McWilliams still long term injured, must be 2yrs since he played for Swatragh.

Ryan O

Back training with Swatragh, don't question the messenger boy because he knows nothing. 🤔🙉🤷🏽

Didn't see the Newbridge match, how'd they get beat so badly?

Wiped out of midfield, couldn't press the kickout hardly at all. Goal at the end of first half from a short kickout misfire was a bit of a dagger. Very little holes in the Dungiven defence they were very hard to breakdown seemingly. The McConigles were class, Bobby Butcher stuck in every ball and some production off the bench. Newbridge missing a hampered McAteer badly but he even couldn't turn the tide of what seemed to be a very flat performance from them.

I'd love to see the Newbridge training this evening all the same

Do we still think Paudi Mc Grogan will get himself fit enough to hold down a place in Derry team, thought he looked really off the pace and seemed to struggle to get up and down pitch in half back role. Unbelievably hard to get back to fitness needed after the bad injury he had.

Time is on his side before the NFL, but he looked badly off the pace on Sunday. His pace and mobility are not as good as they were. I hope this is just part if his journey back, and not a permanent impediment resulting from his injury.

As jb said, they were very flat. Pretty much the whole team. They looked like a team devoid of energy. Sometimes you get games like this when there is so much expectation. Hopefully just a blip.

Is the Mfelt keeper putting his hands up for county bck up. We been needing somebody to clock over 2 pointed frees. Though our last forerae into a outfield keeper in nets didn't go well!

jb77

Corner forward wasn't he, how does his other goalkeeping traits look

He's their 3rd choice, great striker of the ball though

He started the past couple of years in the half forward/half back line. 2 cruciates at a young age really hampered his senior development. I believe Mfelt's keepers are both out for the year so have had to draft him in.

Fair play to him for putting his hand up and going in goal. That's probably his best game in goal for us. The 2 point frees are massive in the game now so if he can get consistency he could be an option at county. James Murray, Rory small and cahir spiers could possibly go into the county next year but certainly in the next couple of years.

I heard this was the case, hopefully he recovers fully.
