Anyone stand out from the weekend's football that would be a good new option for the county team?

Format works well I think, big improvement from previously. Not sure if there is much of a benefit from winning the first round game but time will tell.

No but I think it shows some lads need to be given more of a chance. Hopefully Div 2 will allow that.

On squad and looked good
- Cahir Mc Monagle
- Caolin Devlin
- Charlie Diamond.
- Niall O Donnell (in spells)

Not on Panel or Need them back
- Declan Cassidy
- Sean Kearney
- Niall Mc Gonigle
- Fionn Mc Eldowney
- Cahal Mc Kaigue (Very young but special talent)

Although I would share some reservations about the benefit of being in the winner's section after round 1, you do avoid relegation by winning first time up. Structure looks good, every game should have some jeopardy in it and whoever comes through or gets relegated will do so on merit.

Oh, this means nothing to be, it means nothing to me, oh Vienna

If the rumour mill is to be believed he will be in a Craigbane shirt soon. Hasn't trained or played for Swatragh since Derry season ended.

Wildweasel74

Sure he lives in Swatragh, hardly drive to Craigbane. Is Oisin McWilliams still long term injured, must be 2yrs since he played for Swatragh.

Back training with Swatragh, don't question the messenger boy because he knows nothing. 🤔🙉🤷🏽

Didn't see the Newbridge match, how'd they get beat so badly?

Wiped out of midfield, couldn't press the kickout hardly at all. Goal at the end of first half from a short kickout misfire was a bit of a dagger. Very little holes in the Dungiven defence they were very hard to breakdown seemingly. The McConigles were class, Bobby Butcher stuck in every ball and some production off the bench. Newbridge missing a hampered McAteer badly but he even couldn't turn the tide of what seemed to be a very flat performance from them.

I'd love to see the Newbridge training this evening all the same
