The country's Iron Dome system has shot down short-range rockets and drones fired by Hamas from Gaza, while David's Sling has intercepted heavier rockets fired from Lebanon, and the Arrow system has blocked ballistic missiles from Iran. Houthi rebels in Yemen and Iraqi militias have also fired missiles, rockets and drones at Israel

Almost three dozen missiles hit Israel's Nevatim air base, according to open source intelligence analysts, while one missile exploded 700 metres away from the headquarters of Mossad, Israel's foreign intelligence agency.

Iran used small warheads to ensure no civilian casualties but just of reminder of their capabilities.

I'm not saying Iran's regime are good guys but they do seem to have a bit more humanity that the current Israeli regime. That's not a high bar.

The response from Israel to date hasn't occurred as they're waiting on new missile protection systems from good ole Uncle Sam..

It won't matter two flying fúcks to the Palestinians who wins the US election, they'll both keep supporting a genocide of brown coloured people who have no worth to them.

Iran are targeting regime interests whereas Israel goes for collateral damage. Israel is all about punishment. In Lebanon Hezbollah will wwork as the resistance. Taking pot shots at Israel. It is all being driven by the far right

"In the background, there is a nonstop flow of reports about hidden political intentions. The far-right parties are interfering in the decision-making, assisted by reserve officers in the command headquarters and the divisions. This ties in with the so-called Generals' Plan to put forward by Maj. Gen. (res.) Giora Eiland and other retired generals, which includes a siege on the few hundred thousand Palestinians who are still in northern Gaza to bring about their evacuation across the Gaza Stream in the center of the Strip. Ideas such as deliberately opening fire close to a population, and even steps toward starving the inhabitants, are being debated. These ideas haven't officially been validated in the IDF chain of command, but the very fact that they are being discussed, and the political involvement of right-wing parties and media outlets, is trickling down."

Quote from: Rufus T Firefly on October 14, 2024, 10:23:13 AMThe footage doing the rounds on social media of people being burned alive in their tents, after the bombing of the hospital in Gaza yesterday, is truly horrifying. The fact that this is allowed to happen in the 21st century underlines the brutal reality - that in the West, these people's lives are considered to be of absolutely no value.

Utterly desperate.

this absolutely broke me. Everytime you think things cant get worse you are proven wrong. I am hoping those videos are a turning point but I doubt it

Not a hope in hell. You see the likes of above, Sandy Hook and a 101 other devastating incidents, makes no odds to the sociopaths making billions, zero

youre probably right and it makes me dread what we will see next

The Israelis are out of sync with the west. How this plays out is the question. Israel postponing the attack on Iran is very significant. Israel depends on foreign arms resupply

They are out of sync with Western public opinion. Sanctions are easier with popular support.
several countries have cut arms sales to Israel.
There is a reason why Western journalists are barred from Gaza.
It's like the Picture of Dorian Gray. Israel looks normal but the picture in the attic shows a monster.
We may be on the way to a tipping point.
Red China was focused on Xinjiang and Tibet and now Hong Kong. None of the great powers are decent.

Public opinion isn't stopping them doing what they're doing though so it doesn't really matter  :(

They appear to be in sync with western governments.

Seemingly Joe Biden is sending war criminal Netanyahu a stiff letter ::)

Play the game and play it fairly

No one can remain ignorant of the evil at play and yet they continue to support that bastard state. What is this when that is true? Surely this should inform, people that the west is completely compromised

At least for now ITG.... we can be grateful to the 'cesspit' twitter in exposing these ugly truths

Starmer confirms Britain considering sanctions against Israeli ministers
Sir Keir Starmer has confirmed Britain is considering imposing sanctions on Israeli ministers, as pressure grows on Israel over its conduct in Gaza, the West Bank and Lebanon.

Lord David Cameron, the former Tory foreign secretary, had been considering sanctions on Israeli finance minister Bezalel Smotrich and national security minister Itamar Ben-Gvir ahead of the general election, it emerged this week.

"The humanitarian situation in Gaza is dire," Starmer said in response to a question by Liberal Democrat leader Sir Ed Davey in the House of Commons on Wednesday. "Israel must take all possible steps to avoid civilian casualties, to allow aid into Gaza in much greater volumes and provide the UN humanitarian partners the ability to operate effectively."

One step would be to stop bombing and murdering in Gaza and Lebanon.

Will one of them ever have the balls to finally call it out, genocide?

It sure as fúck won't be Starmer, he has no backbone at all.

All bought and paid for by the Labour Friends of Israel.

Per the Yanks, Israel has to allow 350 trucks per day into Gaza or else face munition resupply problems at the end of 30 days. This is encouraging. The world doesn't agree with Israel's inhumanity.
