Sky news won't be inviting Irish Senator Tom Clonan on again any time soon.

He eviscerated their news host by stating facts about Israels historical attacks on the UN peace keeping force and was hit with the usual "Israel no doubt disputes those comments" by stating he has been there in the past when Israel has murdered Irish and other UN peacekeepers in that area and it is a statement of record.

They couldn't shut him up quickly enough.

He talked about Israel in the same way he was talking about Hamas and Hezbollah and that's just not cricket to a UK audience, but hey, us Irish are Anti-Semitic anyway, isn't that right?

Look-Up!

Quote from: Rufus T Firefly on October 14, 2024, 10:23:13 AMThe footage doing the rounds on social media of people being burned alive in their tents, after the bombing of the hospital in Gaza yesterday, is truly horrifying. The fact that this is allowed to happen in the 21st century underlines the brutal reality - that in the West, these people's lives are considered to be of absolutely no value.

Utterly desperate.

Sickening.
God help those people.

Why are the other muslim countries in the region not banding together to retaliate? Maybe that's the ultimate goal of Israel and the US. If they do retaliate, gives the US justification for another war.

Muslims are not united and there is a huge Sunni Shiite divide. Plus there are economic reasons why some quietly watch, no more so than European nations. Not very honourable or brave unfortunately. We only kick up a stink when it's easy and doesn't upset America too much.

FYI ... people should follow @ShaykhSulaiman on twitter if you want to get the most up to date information on this topic

He does regular (almost daily) twitter spaces on this conflict with very insightful speakers

Israel will continue to murder civilians
Nothing will stop Netanyahu
Harris will lose Michigan
Israel is out of touch with the rest of the OECD.

CNN Called Out LIVE For 'Gaza Genocide' Lies

+ IDF using Palestinians as human shields

All from our friends who as some point out we share our democratic values and with whom we have close personal, cultural, political, economic and historical ties to.

The United States has threatened to suspend arms deliveries to Israel if it does not drastically increase the amount of aid entering Gaza in the next 30 days.

Antony Blinken, the US secretary of state, and Lloyd Austin, the defence secretary, sent a letter to Israeli ministers this weekend expressing Washington's "deep concern" with the "deteriorating humanitarian situation in Gaza" and demanding a swift reverse.

The letter states that 1.7 million people have been forced into a narrow coastal area and "extreme overcrowding" has put them at risk of deadly disease.

It adds that trucks carrying US-funded food and medicine supplies have been obstructed as they try to enter Gaza.
...reports that Benjamin Netanyahu has told Joe Biden that Israel will not attack Iran's oil or nuclear facilities before the US election.

CNN is very dull and has too many ads.

Not a hope in hell. You see the likes of above, Sandy Hook and a 101 other devastating incidents, makes no odds to the sociopaths making billions, zero

It is political now

At the beginning of the week, U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris issued an exceptional statement of condemnation. The Democratic presidential candidate quoted a United Nations report stating that not a single food shipment has entered the Gaza Strip for almost two weeks

As was stated yesterday, all posturing as the Jewish people are only a small % of the electorate and there's an election coming up

I watched "Life and Death in Gaza" on BBC last night.
It follows 4 different people/families on over the last year and their experiences.
It's a tough watch but feels like a realistic view.

Available on iPlayer - I'd recommend.

Polls are also finding a shift in public opinion on Gaza and Israel.
A Gallup poll published ten days ago showed a majority of Americans, 55% to 36%, disapproved Israels military action in Gaza.
For Democrat voters, 75% disapprove

That was in July
there are 2 facts

Democratic voters don't support Israel's war in Gaza
Israel is running out of munitions. Bombing the shit out of civilians uses up a lot of munitions.
