Talk of Ardboes demise may have been premature

The big ticket management team back and they vanquish the ghosts of last years championship

Errigal at home had a big chance to keep Ardboe winless and suppressed at the bottom of the table and they even managed to bottle that.

Is that big management ticket not officially away from Ardboe. Rumours were that they stepped away during the Derry saga to concentrate on that and were not going back.
Maybe someone from Loughshore can confirm that or confirm they are back

Still think Ardboe be fine. Easier saying that now rather than this time last week right enough, but they've probably got enough.

Galbally still flying didn't expect this to continue for so long, fair play.

Ardboe at Home to Clonoe, Eglish home to Edendork, Pomeroy home to Coalisland.
Big weekend in the relegation picture. Big two pointer for Ardboe and Clonoe and the head to head could be critical for getting out of the bottom three come the end of August.

WT4E has put a curse on them similar to the priest in Mayo in 1951.

Overacheived last year but there's definitely 3 worse teams than them in Division 2 so I'd imagine they'll be OK.

Good team. Should be top six not the bottom six. New management not even meeting the minimum expectation of Top Six.

What of the players? Maybe it's them who have dropped their standards? Maybe it's them who haven't got back up to levels of last year.  Do think they played above themselves last season as league position reflected. This is probably more a normalisation I would say,  nothing to do with the management.

Alot of the middle of the road teams in intermediate seem to have really come on strides this year. Gortin and The Rock are flying. The Moy are no slouches either.

To class Moy as middle of the road is crazy. Division 1 up until 2 years ago. Lost last years championship final and promotion play off final so they should be at the top of the league especially when they have 2/3/4 ex county men playing

To class Moy as middle of the road is crazy. Division 1 up until 2 years ago. Lost last years championship final and promotion play off final so they should be at the top of the league especially when they have 2/3/4 ex county men playing

I'd agree Moy are what I'd call a 1B team. Top end of 2 or bottom end of 1. They are heavily reliant on 2 forwards if they are stopped then they are very ordinary.

Thats always been the way with Moy though a few good players.

Anyone overlooking Dungannon as contenders for the Senior Championship would need to reconsider shortly, they put their hand up in big style tonight with that 9 Point win over Carrickmore. Paul Donaghy must be the best forward in the county, his free taking from both sides was outstanding. Paudie McNulty, Conall Devlin and the Jones' also impressive. They also seem a lot more defensively sound under Slater than they have over the previous few years.

Clarkes certainly laid down a marker tonight. As previously said, very solid at the back - don't give away any free kicks in scoring zone. However, they are more composed on the ball going forward than previous years. Not afraid to keep it and wait on the opening to arrive and then they are clinical.

Physically strong, full of running and will be hard to talk to if they can survive the absolutely ludicrous fixture program that the CoBo have put on every team over the next 5 weeks

A premier league team wouldn't play that amount of games in that short a period and a county GAA team certainly wouldn't but sure who gives a f**k about the ordinary club player
