But while they were always a bit ridiculous, the current one is just a different level. I know they are park the brain for 40 mins, sort of shows but the current one goes over the top, in the ridiculous levels. Just not enjoying it as much.

Oh yes. The man has no car, no house, no phone, eats constant junk food, wouldn't know what an over night bag was if it hit him in the face and never goes near a gym..but boy can he take down the baddies

I like this series - much better than the last one. Not one to take too seriously really.

Well it's always been like that and you just have to assume he is flat out in the gym off screen between these scrapes he keeps getting into lol. As Trueblue says they are park the brain. Ridiculous but enjoyable

Preferred the last one myself- first was probably the pick of them. The Indonesians are some birds though

I know I get that. But you'd like to keep at least a thread of reality. I don't mind the, Reacher able to defeat 5 guys with a pencil sort of stuff. That's a given. More the, when they need to move the plot line along, he just happens to bump into someone who can help or completely out of nowhere finds some information. Just seems lazy and takes some of the enjoyment away for me.
The Indonesian doll makes it easy watching tho.

Is Reacher a modern version of The A-Team? I watched season 1 and enjoyed it but dropped it a bit into season 2.

I loved The A-Team when I was 10. Might tune back into Reacher to see if I still like the same stuff at 50!

It's really not.

The A Team was aimed at kids and teenagers.

Reacher is aimed at adults.... who should know better.

Gentlemen season 2 brilliant.

New season of Colin from Accounts on the iPlayer. I don't remember too much of the previous two in terms of details but it's hard to imagine them being any better written than this one. Very easy watching.

Although the Greg Hirchs character in Succession is not reckoned at all to model Jared Kushner, there is quite a resemblance in many aspects  but the actor who played Greg is over 2m  compared to JaredĀ“s minuscule  191cm. just a thought after listening to Jared speak about his love of Putin and thoughts on the Russian moral right to wage war,  a lick spittle who'd do anything to please his  power in law.
