80 Syrian refugees will be be housed at the Abbeyfield Hotel in Ballaghaderreen, looking at many of the comments on facebook it looks like some of the locals are not happy.

Bad result last night, we've no hope of catching Chelsea unless they completely collapse which I just don't see happening.

Spurs were good last night but they won't win a league without adding more goals to that team. Like United they'll struggle with Thursday night football especially considering the size of their squad.

Liverpool in 10 days time is such a huge game, Mane will be a huge loss for them although Coutinho will probably be back. Liverpool have their weaknesses and I'd like to think United will exploit them.

I wouldn't want Carvalho at OT from what I've seen, too limited a player. So far Mourinho has made 4 brilliant signings, I trust him to get it right.

At least we've got ourselves back in the top 4 hunt. We were 12 points behind Liverpool and 10 behind City going into December so we've done well to claw back 7 points on both sides. Rashford was brilliant when he came on, looks like he's learning how to play out wide; We've got great options on the bench, Mata is having a very good season and makes a difference everytime he comes on. I still worry about Pogba & Herrera, they've played a lot of games and play in a position where their energy is important. We're in desperate need of another centre mid. As for Zlatan he's a freak, he's played more game than anyone else yet but showing no signs of slowing down.

I still think top 4 will be difficult because of Thursday night games but at least we've given ourselves a chance. The game against Liverpool is huge, if we can win their back in the top 4 hunt as opposed to challenging for the title although winning that game is as imperative as it was a few weeks ago.

As for the decision last night it was no way near as bad ad they were making out, lets see if the FA rescinds the red card first. We've been on the receiving end of a lot of bad decisions this season which have probably cost us points which have barely been mentioned. Martial nearly had his ankle taken off in the box against Boro yet wasn't even mentioned by any of the commentators.

Does Klopp have much money to spend in January? He was in profit from transfer over the summer so surely has a few quid to spend although the new stand has to be paid for.

Whats a dive these days?

Pogba was booked against West Ham for a dive when if he stayed upright he'd have been fouled which Noble confirmed after the match. Coquelin wasn't touched by Jagielka for the free that led to Arsenal's goal the other day yet nobody has even mentioned it. If a player is jumping out of the way of a bad tackle then he's entitled to go down, I've no issue with that. Every team has players that go down far too easily, Herrera is United's player who's always at it.

The only way to cut it out is with a retrospective ban.

Great to get a late winner as opposed to conceding.

Pogba & Zlatan were very good, only a couple of weeks ago plenty of United fans were whinging about Zlatan and some still do; He's scored 14 goals so far and we've still got 3 games to go before the New Year. Win on Saturday and we're right back in the hunt for top 4 given that City play Liverpool and Arsenal whilst Liverpool have to go to Everton next Monday so points will be dropped.

We don't deserve to be in the top 4 because we've not scored enough goals. there's no doubting we've been unlucky as apart from the Everton game we've created plenty of chances in those games to win it.

I don't think there's much of a difference between any of the top 6 but Chelsea have found a system that suits the players they've got and with no European football and their impeccable injury record they've put themselves in a great position. I do think an injury to Costa would hit them more than an injury to any other player at any of the top clubs. Given our stuttering form I'll only start thinking about top 4 if we put a run together.

Youth team got beat last night, they were 1 up with ten mins to go but conceded 2 late goals to go out. What a waste, this is a strong group who are near the top of the league and would have been one of the favourites to win the competition. Angel Gomes is a special talent, along with Ravel Morrison the best we've had since the class of 92.

Another good performance and we finally got the result we deserved. I wasn't expecting City & Liverpool to drop so many points the last 2 weekends so after writing top 4 off a few weeks ago we now have a glimmer of hope. If we can go on a run we'll close the gap as City have to play Arsenal & Liverpool over the next few weeks.

Darmian concerns me, Sissoko skinned him 4 or 5 times and he's in the team for his defending as he's very poor going forward.

Rojo & Jones are playing for their futures and have both been excellent, just hope Jones can stay fit though given his injury record.

Agree with all of that. Darmian looked really bad defensively and when you offer little to nothing in attack it's a bad equation. Hope Mkhitaryan's ankle is ok, he has really made the team hum. Still think Pogba is a bit brainless and inconsistent but his raw abilities are massive. The Carrick/Herrera platform allows him the freedom to make the odd f**k up though. Great to see Bailly back....he's a super addition. Was delighted for Jones especially yesterday, defended very well but as you say he needs to avoid injury. The lack of goals again is a little hard to explain. Spurs had chances and could easily have got a point.

So after the Chelsea humiliation Mourinho has copped on and is picking the team on its merits and not just doing his own thing to show who's the boss. This must continue. Two away games this week which are tricky but if United could get 6 points out of them it would be a nice boost heading into the Christmas fixtures.

I do think Pogba is learning though, there was nothing daft from him yesterday. He did his bit for the team defensively and from an attacking point of view he got forward when he needed too and with a bit of luck could have scored 3 goals.

The youth team play their first game in the youth cup tonight, they've got a good team this year and should have a good chance of progressing.

Great draw in terms of travel, away leg is a few days before a potential fa cup game and I've no doubt Mourinho will play his best 11 considering the home game is a few days before we go away to City.

I think you have that the wrong way round. 1st leg is at home before FA Cup weekend and away leg is before a potential City game but this is also the weekend of League Cup Final so hopefully United would be playing in that. Also there is possibility away leg could be played on the Wed night as Lyon have also been drawn to play at home the same night and seemingly there is precedence of them and St Etienne not being allowed play on same night.

Just seen that now, forgot we were 2nd in our group which meant away first. We're going to have a lot of games if we progress in Europe and get to the league cup final and then have a decent FA Cup run.

Top 4 is still well within reach.

Not sharing your confidence, we'd have to go on a great run until the end of the season; We'll need to probably win 18 of our remaining 24 league games to finish top 4 unless one of them collapses. I think its too much an ask.

Barcelona might be in the early stages of disintegration themselves. Big debt, and rumblings coming out of the Camp Nou about Messi, Suarez and Neymar, and the coach.

We'll see what happens Barca when Messi begins to slow down or even moves on. Suarez is nearly 30 and Iniesta is 32, replacing players like these will cost a lot of money. Barca have always spent big but players like Messi, Iniesta & Xavi don't come through the one academy too often. They've a huge debt that isn't under control, a huge % of their turnover is spent on wages, considerably more than United or Bayern and their in the process of spending hundreds of millions on redeveloping the nou camp. Barca & Real have dominated Europe for the past 7 or 8 years, think that dominance is coming to an end over the next few years.

Another very frustrating game, we just about shaded the first half and had the better of the 2nd half until about 65 mins and thought at the time we'd regret not getting the 2nd goal. Fellaini came on because of his height and the anticipated aerial bombardment that was about to come, I can't stand Fellaini but felt it made sense given some of the goals we've conceded recently and that both our centre halves aren't that tall. We were poor the last 20 minutes and thought Jose should have changed it earlier but when you've a lead to protect and the other team aren't looking that dangerous there's always the temptation to protect what you've got.

Refs have been dreadful this season, how he didn't send Rojo given how obvious it was and Barry should have seen red in the first half too; As for Zlatan I didn't think there was much in it and doubt he'll be punished for it.

Its hard to believe how many points we've dropped, its not as if we're playing poorly like we have done for the last 3 years; We're creating more chances than our opponents and its not like De Gea is been overworked. Top 4 is well and truly gone unless we went on a run winning 8 game in a row or someone above us has a total collapse and both are unlikely. There is certainly a nervousness about us approaching the end of games, hopefully once we see out a couple of close matches that will disappear.
