Continuing on with the French shows I'm
watching. I've started one called Spiral and it's very good so far. 8 seasons so plenty of watching to do.

I am curious, were you not on the board when we were fulsomely praising  Le Bureau and Spiral to the
highest hilt? it's as if you are only now discovering the Barca team  of 2011 that had Xavi, Iniesta and Messi in flowing majestic form.

I'm just late to the party with the French shows. Dark Hearts is another good one on BBC iPlayer. Another one I still want to watch is The West Wing! Really late to the party with that one!!

Corriedale was peak TV last night.

Agreed on Landman, season 2 been slow and boring, 2 episodes could cover it to what has landed so far. And in typical Sheridan fashion he has some filler thrown in of scenes that don't really mean anything but show off the Texan life.

Quare insist to the people who created Stranger things that the fan base is convinced theres another episode coming because the finale was so terrible... glad I never made it past the first series now

Speaking of French, it's old (2012-2015) but the supernatural undead series Les Revenants (the Returned) was excellent. Worth seeking out.

Watching Harlan Coben's latest Netflix show, Run Away

It's not bad but there are some scenes with James Nesbitt and his face looks like he's taken a few bumble bees!!

Ruth Gordon is pretty good though

I don't think the ending was great but as an overall series I thought it was fantastic!!

Harlan Coben is another prolific but mystery books by numbers man. Thought he was a Brit as they were a UK TV staple for years but see he's American.

Watching this new one on Netflix and it is definitely a rinse and repeat job.
