Groups came out during the week. 1st Round 15th March, 2nd 21st March and last group game 28th March. Top team in each group into Jim Devlin, Second place into Frank O'Neill, bottom teams out.

7 starred round provisionally down to start on 22nd May if Tyrone U20s reach final - brought forward if U20s exit Championship earlier. These games are worth two points for a win.
8 games with county players confirmed to be worth three points.
Holiday period 4th July to 16th July.
Reserve Championship - 17th July.

People talk about the big problem we have with so many similar forward styles, but when you think of it, after McCurry what left footed attackers do we have. Conroy perhaps the only out and out forward (but not sure malachy fancies him) - the likes of seanie and cathal Donaghy also but not really score getters. Why have we not looked to include some others even to the squad at this stage. The free we missed late on in the game is a tap over free for a lefty. What about Tiarnan Quinn, Conor Owens. Thats the top two I can think of, is there any others out there. The left footed forwards we have had have been few and far between since Stevie:

Maybe change that name to Beragh4Life

I purposely didn't allow for Danny as he isn't a viable option due to his current injury, but great observations, ive added him and posted on the correct forum now also. Thanks 'In Hiding'

Same in Div2 with Killeeshil, other relegation candidates could gain a big advantage by playing them in the second half of the season as opposed to the teams who play them at the beginning.

That's not bad in fairness. It's the teams that have been slogging it through January doing "preseason" training for a season that starts at the end of May you'd feel sorry for. Pointless really but hopefully common sense applies to managing that.

Agreed on when you play certain teams being massive, huge change to how things have been ran for years, what's the logic behind selecting when you play someone?

Most clubs have county men - everyone will want to play the bottom teams in the back half of the league, how are you supposed to work that out?

You take Clonoe playing Moortown in round 2 and get two points and Ardboe played them in round 13 and get 3 three points. End of the season Clonoe go down in 15th with 8 points and Ardboe stay up with 9 points in 14th position. Thats the potential scenario that the different points creates.
