Unless you're offering to double his wages you won't be seeing Tevez, or any other player of real quality for that matter, coming through Anfield gates anytime soon.

The key to success is to be consistently competitive -- if you bang on the door often it will open

And the fact he is homesick and will probably be going back to South America!

That was horrible viewing yesterday, after playing so well against Villa I thought they had finally turned the corner.
I wouldn't object to Torres being sold in January.

:D :D And this man shows excatly what he knows about soccer in this post  ::)

Hmm depends why he wants him sold. Is it because he sees that Torres just does not want to be there and is not putting in the effort? He is the most talanted palyer at the club and if things can be turned around and some better players bought then any Liverpool fan would want him to stay and find form.

Bingo

What a mess that was on Saturday. Terrible yet again away from home.

I hope the owners live phone in on LFCTV today get an indication of the feeling of the fans on Roy. He is taking the club backways to the midtable position he seems to thrive in.

Time for a change asap and before January so the new man can get a player or two of his own choice.

Agree 100%. Just like the club couldn't move on with the 2 yanks at the helm, while Roy is manager we'll just go backwards. He has to go now.

No LL, we need Torres to stay- class is permanent. But I fear he will go.
I don't have strong feelings about Hodgson but he's clearly not up to it. Paul Konchesky is one of the worst defenders I have ever seen- including the South London Premier League and the NI Amateur League.
He doesn't look like he wants to be there anymore dubh, it be great if he wanted to stay and his form improved but I wonder if we did get 40 mill or so for him would it be worth selling and buying 2 or 3 replacements?
Obviously I would love him to stay and get back to his best but you get the sense he wants out.

Deff not, he would only be going to Spain. But wouldnt sell him all the same, i would be too scared of what woy might buy with the 40 odd mill! Note the word what and not who!! Likely to be Zamora plus Jay Bothroyd.
