Bad stuff happens to teams who score important game defining goals from blatant cheating handballs.

The omens are not good for Brazil.

QuoteRed for Kaka. Tickled Keita's ribs who went down clutching his face. Pathetic.

Keita will get villified for the rest of his career yet Rivaldo's disgraceful antics v Turkey were quickly forgotten.

No they ain't been forgotten. That incident has been shown a few times since this World Cup started and is abiding memory of Rivaldo.

John Terry says Rooney and Joe Cole are the only two who can open up defenses. That's good faith in Frankie and Stevie G...

That interview was mad. Think of all the trouble Terry caused Capello and the England squad in general with the Wayne Bridges affair (pardon the pun) and now here is picking the team in public. I'd say Capello will maul him when he hears about it but the difference is Capello will do it behind closed doors. If he had another central defender he would drop him, but he doesn't.

Thats why I would have it cracked down on every time.
Drogba went into the box earlier and lucio had a hold of his shirt that again coulkd have been called.

Also - kakas red - absolute joke. As bad as cahills

I didn't think Cahills was bad, He came in from behind and you hear all this shit about how refs are supposed to protect players nowadays so that may half justify it. Kaka's was unbelievable though, as bad a decision as I can remember. Game got really petty towards the end with so much diving, very frustrating to watch. On the 2 showings Ivory Coast aren't as good as I thought they were.

I suppose Argentina winning the World Cup in 86 was pretty bad.

Rivaldo's actions against Turkey were a disgrace, but hr has a whole host of other things to be remembered for besides it. My favourite is the last minute overhead from the edge of the box on the final day of the 2001 (?) season against Valencia to complete the best hat-trick I've ever seen and clinch a Champions League place at their opponent's expense.

Same here, Rivaldo will be remembered for all the great things he did.  The second 3-3 game at The Nou Camp when he scored two and near broke the crossbar are still clear in my head.  Great player and his goal against Schemichel in 1998 was one of the best, especially considering who he beat and from how far.

???
game defining goal?
Anyone outside England who watched that game in '86, know what that game's defining goal was.

A Quinn Martin Production

Two good goals from Portugal to go 2-0 up but no way are N Korea anywhere near their ranking of 105.  They're better than England!

North Korea now getting the type of hammering you would have expected before the tournament started.

Ronaldo won't be happy if he finishes this game without a goal!

Doogie Browser

They were 6/5 minus a goal, gutted I did not lump on but the way things have been going so far I was being cautious.
