St Endas ruthless last night, full of running, very mobile all over the park

Could do ok in Ulster? Play the winners of Tyrone vs Down so will imagine that will be tough,  Rock came through Tyrone last night and Rostrevor through in Down.

Cold stand in Dunsilly last night. Naomh Éanna were far superior in every department and, truth be told, I was really disappointed in Aldergrove.

St Enda's are clearly too strong for Intermediate football in Antrim, which again highlights how out of sync our championship structures are with the actual levels of certain teams. That's no criticism of St Enda's, they've simply competed at the level they've been placed. Hopefully they can use this as a springboard, give Ulster a good rattle and establish themselves as a Senior club over the next few years.

Onto the Senior final today. I'd love to see Rossa win it, and why can't they? You don't knock out both PG1 and Cargin without having serious ability. They'll certainly not be there just to make up the numbers.

That said, I think the BT9ers have more depth and quality throughout their side, and over the course of 60 minutes I fancy that to be the difference.

BT9ers by 2 or 3 for me.

Perfect conditions for it today.

Come on the Rossa

Will be interesting to see the midfield battle, thats the 1 place I think St Brides are lacking a good bit and Rossa absolutely cleaned Cargin out in the middle.

Two bang average sides, should make for a exciting final.

If it is close in the final stetch you would wager Rossa will do it

Up Rossa. The McCooeys need one championship this year 😉

I really fear for the newly crowned Antrim champions in Ulster. That was dreadful.

Well done st brigid's. Good to see a new name on the trophy.

It'll be as short as it usually is

Don't think St Brigids be too worried.
They'll still be on the Dom Perignon by then

Congratulations to St Brigid's. Although I feel Rossa will be kicking themselves at just how naive they were at times, particularly on opposition kickouts, where they made life far too easy for St Brigid's.

Overall, St Brigid's did enough to deserve the win. I think you'll see a different side in Ulster now that the shackles are off. All the pressure and expectation was on them today, and they can go into Ulster with a real freedom about their play.

Great to see new champions crowned, and if you're Creggan, PG1 or Aghagallon, today's result should give you plenty of encouragement. The championship is wide open, and next year promises to be ultra competitive again, which can only be a good thing for Antrim football.

Finally, huge kudos to Jerome and the team on the quality of their stream. The improvement over the years has been remarkable, and the coverage is now an excellent standard. Credit where it's due.

That's an ordinary Tuesday night's drink at St. Brigids. There won't an affadavit or contract for purchase issued in South Belfast for a couple of days.

We've finally got what was wanted: an open championship that a number of teams could win.  Unfortunately the price of that was the removal of quality.

Congratulations to St Brigids on lifting the cup

Congrats to St.Brigids. They've been genuinely knocking on the door for 5 years now and their day has come.
They could dominate Antrim now for a while as the underage coming through is good I'm told and the level of transfers coming in will continue I'm sure.

Decent game to watch,  at least it was tight most of the way through ableit probably lacking quality.  Rossa started well,  Stephen Beattie good player and had a good game throughout. Rossa full forward far far too static for me. I felt that they where winning around the middle but then when they looked up,  there was just no movement inside to release it into, he just never offered an outlet for them to kick it into. Their big downfall over the hour though was the St Bs kickout. I don't think they went long with one and they must have had near 100% from their own short kick outs. That was really poor from Rossa as on their own kick outs,  they really competed and won a lot where it was in and around the middle of the park. Overall St Bs just had more in the tank and more quality in the forward line. Who got man of the match?

Most of the the house buying is from all the Derry and Armagh dickheads who stay on after their medicine or law degrees.

They'll still look to save a few quid by taking the bus home for training rather than drive their Audi A3 with the personalised number plate though.
