I can't think of any compromise that would work, unless they both compromised, and I just can't see that happening. Seen it all before.

And this is why we won't get unification for at least 2 generations or more..

The hate between both sides still strong, that's bred into the next generation and so on..

Fixing Health economy education infrastructure housing employment do not even come close to solving a centuries of struggle.

No doubt Marty will say 'we ain't bitter' lol
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

Put the 35  (or the original 60) orange men onto a bus, drive it  down the Garvaghy Road, and  they can march up and down  the aisle while  it's  being driven down the road.

They could  play the pipes/flutes and beat a lambeg at the same time, if there's room. It might resemble  Graham Norton and Co  Riverdancing  in Father Ted's caravan, but  it's a compromise of sorts.

I'm sure the Garvaghy  residents would tolerate  that. I wonder would the  OO agree to it? ;)

Ach sure I'll  just add a wee winky face to  let them know I'm only  half serious

Edit: sorted

Unionism's capacity to score own goals is absolutely limitless.

From a position of relative strength they look like complete fools. I imagine the proposal will be leaked soon enough.

No restrictions on numbers, bands etc, top of the Garvaghy Road and down the Dungannon Road is what I'm hearing.

The old two sides chestnut again...we see you a chara.

Trying to blame the residents of Garvaghy Road in all of this...hate...and bred into...

The above is basically a party political broadcast for the Alliance Party.

Where you hearing that?

Is that not a very sizeable concession by the GRRA?
