Watching Homeland with the big son over the holidays. He usually can't cope with only watching one or two episodes a night due to the wife falling asleep, however his summer job starts at 5am so he can't binge at night  ;D

Quote from: bennydorano on August 11, 2026, 10:43:50 AMFurious on Disney + is a very high quality show. Best thing ive watched in a while.

Just caught up to date this evening. It's brilliant starts slow and builds with episode 6 being class there it's moving along for a big finish now.

The acting in it is superb. Petticrew Rossum and the woman who plays agent Washington are first class.
Well worth a watch!

Anybody watch the programme 'Beat the Lotto'?

I enjoyed it. A great story. Ireland was rough and tough at that time.

Thirded. Thought it was a slow enough starter and was afraid it was gojng to be like some of that Harlan Coben shite on Netflix but it has been great. Looking forward to the finale.

Aye looks like season 1 was purely laying ground. Season 2 is very good so far - 6 episodes in.

The 2nd series was absolutely a lift on a very good 1st series. Fassbender is brilliant and the end of it is unreal. Series 3 well set up!!!
Thanks folks that was a good recommendation. Season 2 definitely more edgy than the first.

(A legitimately held title unlike Dinny's)

Last wee while

Furious, super 8/10
Cape Fear, super 8/10
Pennyworth, almost super 7.5/10
Reacher, super 8/10
From (getting as frustrating as Lost / Walking Dead) 7/10

trueblue1234

Are you including the current Reacher series in that rating. Loved the last few series. But while they were always a bit ridiculous, the current one is just a different level. I know they are park the brain for 40 mins, sort of shows but the current one goes over the top, in the ridiculous levels. Just not enjoying it as much.

Daft as f**k but a good watch if you suspend reality, really enjoy it.

Season 2 of the Gentlemen coming to Netflix next week, looking forward to that
