Good point Jerome.

Leagues should start in April - club season already too condensed with double weekends - CCC talk about player welfare!!!
Teams benefitting from playing opposition with nothing to play for, this year in particular has been a bit of a joke. Usually, the teams who are either handing out points or are actively asking for favours end up in trouble a few years down the road and they run out of partners in this carry on.

C/ship Predictions:
Senior - Carrickmore
Inter - Cookstown
Junior - Stewartstown

Isn't it ridiculous that the minor season is still probably a month from finishing with teams out training from before xmas....the minor comps have been completely diminished in my view
Most minors in the lower grades are all playing senior football..what should be their primary focus has become their secondary..youth leagues are running longer than senior leagues are
Clubs caused the issue at Senior level by refusing to start the season without their U20s. By all accounts CCC are going to enforce an April start date next year either via a new ACL structure or else by including U20 as starred players in the current ACL format.

Management caused the issue at Minor level as they didn't want their players getting injured, so club season was put on hold until county was finished, got to All Ireland final, so after two month break club minor season resumed after July break and is running into September clashing with U16, reserve championship and Senior league and Championship.

Ulster finalists 2014 (should've won it)
Championship winners 2017
thought they looked v impressive v Errigal last year and should've been in a semi final

with the numbers they should have at their disposal alone, they shouldn't be dropping from the top flight surely
and what looks on paper like an excellent mgmt team

Another last gasp Errigal goal, must be 3 games in a row for them now. The Clarkes were 4 points up in injury time and probably the better team throughout. Was a good game of football and played with integrity unlike other games that have taken place recently. Clarkes still need a point from somewhere to keep Omagh bottom.

10 years is a long time

Retirements of key players.
Serious amount of injuries.
They've had to play 3- 4 minors per game.
Historically, Omagh have been slow to refresh starting team each year.
But if you look at tables, scoring has been main issue,  defensively solid enough  and beat by 1 or 2 points in crucial games. 50 years since they played in IFC !
Unless....

Dregish promoted,14/14 impressive however  you want to look at it, might keep the people yapping about them on here quiet for another while. Some result for Killeeshil, Drumquin on the way back to the junior ranks??
As for D1 doubt will be starting to creep in up about Dungannon who left one behind them today. Makes for an exciting last 2 games of the league with a few teams living dangerously.

Tyrone seems like a real messy league structure.

No point teams complaining that they have no county players then the throw the towel in in games at end of league.

Most leagues in each county have issues but Tyrone's seems like a total mess.

He's earned it. A credit to Naomh Eoghan. Used to teach my nephew Niall Connolly in Holy trinity , the lad with the big muscles from kildress

Tyrone league is the best in Ireland as linked to championship with promotion and relegation and is very competitive. It is that competitive that clubs have now pushed it to later and later starts as they won't play without U20s. Clubs now paying that price as injuries pile up and are crying to county board about player welfare. Preliminary round draw in Ulster made the league an even tighter schedule. Reality is the league schedule this season has been their own fault.

Kildress good win away to Clogher. Leaves Clogher still in the discussion however have aghyaram next and they look to have downed tools!

If Owen roes beat Naomh Eoghan next week then it could leave things interesting with the league title as Naomh Eoghan travel to kileeshil on the final day who will likely need a result for survival.

Congratulations to Naomh Eoghan the invincibles - Enjoy the celebrations!

Killeeshil Chairman putting up a tab for the whole weekend!

Surely WT4E isn't congratulating Naomh Eoghan about their division 1 promotion considering the mouthful he was giving them a lock of weeks ago

A massive congratulations to Dregish tonight. Be some celebrations! Gortin to beat them by 3 first round.

Dungannon be sick tonight with 2 crucial points left behind them. Can't see them going down all the same, they will beat Moortown in the playoff.

What happened the mighty Carmen tonight?

Fintona start their march to Croke Park tomorrow. Can't imagine Urney being much bother. Will anyone be fit to put it up to the Pearses?

Eskra would be a banana skin for them in 1st Round should they meet. Stewartstown possibly later on. Fintona's hardest games will be in Tyrone.

Of course, because typically the Tyrone representative goes on and wins Ulster and All Ireland.

Typical Tyrone arrogance there without looking at the actual facts.

The irony is that this is one of the weakest Tyrone junior championships in a long time. Fintona head and shoulders above the rest.
