Looks like all of Magherafelt county men back tonight bar Eoin McAvoy  for their league game against Dungiven. Lynch in goals with Shea McGuckian at corner forward

7-17 to 2-8
Slaughtneil mix of running and being  direct
Sammy Bradley two goals, one a cracker
Cahal McKaigue excellent at midfield
A return of the water breaks
Slaughtneil led 3-1 to 0-0
Half time tweet from Michael McMullan (5-8 to 1-4) You will have to listen to one of the podcasts to find out more.

5:10pm in Mullingar I think.
It's not.
see its just confirmed.

Poor showing - well beat.

Who do we see as the future prospects in this group? Rocco Devlin unlikely to be around with soccer commitments.

Gormley looked good in midfield. Mulholland looks good along with tadhg Bradley and Thomas devlin. Higgy is very good also as was Sargent at full back. It'll be interesting to see if any have the quality to come through to senior. A couple of the better players are a bit small.

Bradley and the 2 Devlins are underage next year also

Minor team still struggling to find proper fast clinical forwards.

I see Cahair O Kane posting that in Kerry u14 amd maybe even u16 football is two touch.

Thats surely a great shout for U14 at least, the amount of games where its a couple big lads who have had early growth spurts just running 40 yards and scoring goals.

Theres a couple on that minor team who I remember coming through U12/U14 and they were un-markable, now that the physical advantage has been taken away they struggle to have as much impact.
This county is absolutely dominated by teams fist passing the ball. Even our top clubs rarely risk the 50 yard kick.

Brendan

True at u14 especially the lower grades, seen it far too often, 1 big lad who just runs the pitch everytime he gets the ball. Would help explain drop offs at older grades too they've spent 2 years being by passed while a team mate gets all the glory

big win for lavey, was there many missing for glen?

also, can anyone confirm the relegation system this year? bottom team/bottom 2, play off?

Big improvement for Lavey from what i seen of them earlier in the yr. Glen only half out, Does Ryan Dougan and J Doherty play much for Glen at all. McFaul got a ego issue or sthing, always the tough guy, u think Glen manager and previous, would have a serious word with him.

Bottom Automatic, 2nd bottom play off with 2nd place intermediate same as last year

Eunan, Conleth, Dougan, Jack are playing in america or on holidays. Not sure why McFaul has turned it up a notch again, lined up Sean Young the last day and got a black card and had a black card the game previous.
