You wonder can Joe O'Connor hit the heights of last year. If they can curb him be a big positive.

That team looks a bit too strong for Armagh unfortunately  :o

Armagh really haven't a hope in this game doesn't they?... no matter how much we try to convince ourselves.

They might have had a chance in the Atlethic grounds with their first choice midfield and Blaine's Hughes fit.

Kerry could win this with a bit to spare.

Very tough to see Armagh coping with the loss of Hughes even if Murnin is fit.  A bridge too far I fear but damage done last week.  Might be the end for three or four more of the 24 team but with the modern rules who knows whats going to happen

What I unfortunately envisage happening is a Kerry stranglehold on the Armagh kickout.  It has the potential to be a very uncomfortable evening for us.  No Blaine, no midfield, it ain't going to be pretty.  Unless something untoward happens and a player such as Ethan has the game of his life and nails every kickout (as he has done before).  I travel in hope more than expectation. I hope Armagh at least leave Killarney with Kerry knowing they were in a game.

Kelly really got to grips with him in league game so would expect that to be the matchup.

It was a major morale boost to see Sean O'Shea and Shane Ryan named on the bench last night down here.

I travelled with the old man to Croke Park for the QF because we genuinely thought it was the only day out we would get. How could we get enough ball to trouble Armagh with a midfield of Mark O'Shea and Sean O'Brien? Of course the rest is history, but maybe something for the Armagh folks to ponder heading down the road expecting to be wiped out at midfield.

It's a very exciting tie, I'm confident of a Kerry win but it wouldn't take much untoward happening to go the other way. Safe travels to ye all and I hope ye enjoy everything but the game.

Could see one or two changes to that Armagh team
Travelling down and  have that feeling that this isn't a done deal .
Everyone ( apart from Lee Keegan) writing is off.

Yeah going down myself but when i sit here looking at both teams side by side that Kerry front 6 is just mad and if they're fit and click Armagh will be in a spot of bother. I think if we're still in it with 15mins to go then we have a chance but I fear we could get torn apart down in Killarney and I'm really fearful of this game tbh. The only thing in Armagh's favour is the underdog tag and we certainly love being written off, the big factor for me (someone mentioned above) is if Kerry push up hard on Armagh and force the keeper to kick it long then we're in serious trouble beacuse that's our weakest point (middle of the field, with no big men there to compete). If Kerry allow us to take short kickouts then they're not wise...

I'd love Armagh to be acting the maggot naming Rafferty in nets and letting Kerry do their prep on him only for Hughes to be parachuted in 🤞 Really hard not to see Ross McQuillan starting, unless he's injured.

Keane

I guess since Armagh named 30 that includes their stand-by players so little or no prospect of Hughes?

I was starting to have a good feeling then I seen the teams. NO harm to Ethan but Blaine is the btter keeper and is needed if we to have a chance of winning

Late inclusions are possible. Remember Rain O'Neill being named at 6 v Derry on his outa nowhere comeback (1st comeback hopefully!).

Possibly. In recent weeks the journalists seem to be getting the list of stand-by players in advance (which I guess can't be changed once submitted) so maybe we'll get clarity before the match.

The first I heard when Rian was playing that day was sitting in my seat in the Athletic Grounds, so if it happens it'll be late. Odds are against it.

Yes.  For all the hype around the Kerry injuries they are getting their big players back as we are losing ours.  We said it at the time but Crealey leaves a massive gap in our team when we're going up against the big guns.  Kerry will be very aggressive on our kickouts, if we can retain 35/40% of them then we have a great chance but I think every Armagh fan is really worried about this.  Rafferty has to have a Tyrone 24 Ulster semifinal match and JOB and Murnin have to deliver big time.
Keep your pecker hard and your powder dry and the world will turn.
