And the yellow card for Kelly for some unknown reason and the very soft free for Mulroy that lead to a 2 pointer.

Conor Lane isn't fit to referee a Junior B game.
Brings Armagh back into the game with a pathetic decision, two minutes after waving away a highly dangerous tackle ftom an Armagh player.

He shouldered a man to the head when he was picking the ball off the ground...that was a stone Waller in my eyes. Mulroy's two pointer free was very soft TBF

Why was the free moved outside the arc?

Foul happened outside and was an advantage. Should have been a penalty.

Lane is absolutely awful but we've been worse!

i didn't see the goalie strike the armagh player on the head, just 2 players going for the ball and the goalie won.

There was an advantage for a pull back before Conaty tried his shot that I thought was well inside the arc, not sure how it ended up coming out as it wasn't advanced.

McElroy very lucky, was extremely reckless. Mulroy two pointer was very soft but he should never have got near the ball in the first place with the jump Duffy had on him.

Interesting game. Armagh uncharacteristically sloppy and reckless with the ball up front. Maguire balloons an awful lot wide for Louth. Was the same the last day.

No matter what happens in this game it shows me why Armagh are winning no AI, no height in MF and it matters. Having to be more and more creative with kickouts to compensate for it, which in itself increases pressure. Rafferty is just jot as good as Blaine Hughes.

Louth should be further ahead.

And didn't appear to touch his head. I thought it was a bit of a shunt in the back tbh. Also thought he lifted it off the ground after McConville's palmed effort was blocked on the line.

Quote from: Shamrock Shore on June 14, 2026, 01:39:13 PMWhy is Ger Canning still commentating?

He's an RTE personality on the gravy train.

After the first five minutes when Armagh were 1-1 to no score up I was fearful if we'd get any sort of a decent game, but Armagh didn't really build on that and were 2nd best for long stretches of the game. Louth probably will feel they should be more than 2 points up at HT given how much of the overall play they had especially in the 2nd quarter. Can see this one going all the way to the wire.

Was it not a shoulder in the back/back of head?

Anyway we knew coming in how bad Lane is, it's our performance especially kickouts and final ball thats worrying.

And Lane did the right thing, consult with the umpire who indicated just a shunt into the shoulder.

The lack of height at midfield is a serious issue for Armagh alright.

Yeah, I've been thinking that  too , even before today.

Even if they win today , other teams will work  out  the lack of height and take advantage
