These personal attacks on Devlin are despicible and those who made them should be barred from this site. Tyrone made something out of little with this team and came close missing 2 of their best players. With the attitude they showed most of the way they deserve great praise while acknowledging the bad angry stuff towards the end of the final.

I agree totally with the personal attack stuff being wrong.

Considering the referee gave Kerry a lot of the decisions yesterday was surprised he only gave a black card at the end as it looked to be more of a deliberate kick than a trip. Overall a good season for the U-20's considering not many expected them to get through the Derry game.

A poor end to a good season for the u20s. Our big players never stood up to the plate today. That was a poor act from Devlin near the end not what you'd want your captain to be at. O'Neill showed too why I'd have reservations about him at senior level. A few good moments throughout the season but never dominated midfield in any game.

Good minor teams coming through so u20 will probably be competing at the business end for a few years to come.

Agreed regarding O'Neill don't really see it with him. But could have too high expectations for him

I am no gaa manager but how could the lads not see the absolute massacre on the long kick outs and not try to at least mix it up a bit? The abundantly clear reason that game was lost was kick outs and not maintaining possession off our own restarts.

Fantastic year getting to an unexpected final but still a shame to have left that behind.

I counted at least 3 times where a defender got away from his marker down the sideline, nobody on that side of the pitch. Instead of putting the ball into space and letting the player run onto it with pace the ball is put into a 50/50 contest that we won 7 of

Some of the comments about Paul are out of order and should be removed. 3 years the haters have had to wait as that's the last time the man lost a knockout game. This year he had a team that mostly played in the minor B competition(and lost) and managed to bring them to the final and win Ulster , beating a very fancied Donegal team and the minor AI champions Derry and runners up Armagh along the way. All this was done with probably his best players Concannon & McCullagh missing most of the season. They played brilliantly in the first 25 mins too, with some superb football, but ultimately lost the midfield battle and the loss of Colton was a big blow as well.

No this team at minor lost on penalties to monaghan, who then went to the all ireland final. Think they lost conor oneill to injury that game too. So they weren't a bad team, lost by the kick of a ball to a good team.

Next years 20s team was the team that lost to eventual all ireland winners derry in minor, not sure how they will fare but with the all ireland minor team behind them, with the likes of colton and mcdermott hopefully will be there or there abouts.

But for anyone to criticise devlin after losing an AI final, especially after everything he's done is an absolute fool. If it were up to me Devlin would be the next senior manager, fantastic resume. A big part of the job is picking the right coaching team as well and he seems to have always done that well.

I agree Devlin has done an unreal job, however, I still think it's fair enough to question the rationale to not mix up the kick outs when it was abundantly clear we were being utterly wiped out from the 25th min onwards.

All or nothing for tyrone v Mayo now I think. 

Lose to them and I think it would be very difficult to get up for a victorious Kerry, Dublin, Meath/Derry or Mon/Rosc in the next round.

Not to mention the chances of winning the following week against the likes of Armagh, Donegal, Galways of the World.

Would have been more confident playing Mayo in Castlebar rather than Healy. Tyrone have often under performed in Healy. I agree, losing it does not bode well for any further progression but a win and a route to the Quarter Finals and fresh, there is a great opportunity at reaching the Semi Finals again.

Need to see a performance in this game. Any time MOR Tyrone have taken a step forward then it's 2 steps back. Donegal last year followed by an abysmal performance against Mayo. Armagh have shown that a good enough squad can dominant when paired with an excellent MF strategy.

Home advantage mightn't be great for tyrone but it certainly takes something away from Mayo if they were at home.  Its loke taking armagh out if the athletic grounds or the dubs out of croke.  Better chance
