I would say that's lyng gone too.

KK are very similar to Wexford. Just over reliant on T.J., like Chin.

Not much coming through.

Fair play to Dublin. O'Ceallachain has done a great job. Especially with noO'Donnell, Bellew and Rushe.

A sold out Parnell Park. Dublin footballers would be better off there.

Wee Davy has tendered his resignation in Antrim, you lads must be gutted.

Davy might fancy all the milk he'd get if he gets the Kilkenny job.

Dowling favourite for it

marty34

Dowling could stay with Kildare for another Mc Donagh Cup.

Not enough to work with in Kilkenny in fairness.

If Kilkenny come calling he'll be gone.

With their current trajectories Dowling might figure he has a better shot of winning Leinster with Kildare.

He's in with Kieran's a lot and they've won three of the last four Crokes, so is clearly the man to rebuild from the bottom up.

KK public can be narky though. He never "made it" as a senior county hurler and hasn't the name that Lyng did. They'd be as likely to give it to Shefflin.

marty34

Was that not a throw ball by Buckley for that Cork goal?

Kilkenny wouldn't entertain him. As bad as it sounds very happy to see the back of Davy. Question is who's next.

If Shefflin gets it, Brian Cody will have a heart attack.

He absolutely despises Shefflin for taking the Galway job.

Could hear one of those fake waspy yokes trying to get in at bathroom window

It's a poisoned chalice at this stage. Reminds me of Meath 2 managers after Sean Boylan or Man U 2 managers after Fergie or the Galway footballers 2010 . They don't have the hurlers coming through. They have to go back to the start and build up from there. Limerick did it with that  under 14 team.
They won't be able to mix talented young players with experienced winners. They might be out of sync for a decade. It's already a decade since 2015. KK had a down period between 1994 and 2006 but this looks like it will be longer.

It certainly looked like a throw as did many others, But wait we need Derek McGrtah to zoom in in it to know for sure. Amount of throwing is insane

Just the three AIs. Perfectly reasonable return before winning four in a row became common for the very top teams.

imtommygunn

A down period between what 94 and 99 was it?

They don't seem to have evolved their hurling though. Unless they do that they'll not be back for a while.
