But is it not good that the spl isnt decided b4 easter for a change. Celtic will have a big task in replacing O'Neill . Woukd be some achievement if he won the title with that side and the cuo. Had they just give him the whole season back when rodgers left he would be on course for the treble.

That's their form going into this game.

MON could be accused of sabotaging the team to some extent with his selections and tactics. Why has Hatate been gaslit since that woeful loss to v D utd?  Nygryn hasn't done anything of note since feb except to pick up award trophies. And why no Sarrachi? Playing Maeda up front and switching him out to the left when Kelechi comes on  so far has worked, but it works better when Sarrachi come on. defenses are at 6s&7s

Sarrachi went back to his club injured

Sure you're not thinking of Araujo.

My two bits worth on Hatate etc is...I'm in the MON camp here on Hatate, the man has a talent and is a fine footballer but not in that Celtic team. He gives the ball away too much in dangerous positions and lacks the drive to get back and defend, he has no guts and will duck his head to avoid getting hit with the ball. He'll pull out of 50/50 tackles and simply cannot be relied on or as other people put it "Martin simply does not trust him". This Hatate talent has been raging around Celtic for years now but he's simply not the same footballer we had 3-4 years ago, he's off the boil and is not one to roll the sleeves up and get stuck in. Granted he might do someting class on the ball about 1 in every 5 games but that's just not enough.
Nygren has scored 20 goals from midfield yet Celtic fans are split on him even playing...Compare that to Matt O'Reilly who scored similar goals but fans loved him and was one of the first names on the team sheet. Nygren offers nothing in general play but will ghost in and score goals but is that enough?. Can Celtic afford to have a luxury player who contributes nowt but can score you goals...I dunno.
McCowan got a new contract more based on him being Scottish and was on the cheap, I personally don't rate him but his home grown talent and cheap contracts probably helped him. As for Scales, he's no Paulo Maldini and can be a bit slow and frustrating at times you can't really argue with the games he's played. Solid enough and a squad players in the future and again like McCowan I'd say he's not on big dollars.

Was listening to a Podcast last night and they were saying "apparently" Hatate is not putting the effort in at training and is only going thru the motions. Hence, why MON is not playing him.

A small club that are everything Celtic aren't.  Dermot Desmond needs gone.

Como spent over 100million last summer according to this report

Podcast gossip ::)  If MON is not playing Hatate then it is a failure of management. Hatate played a key role in the 2 games against Rangers and little used since, meanwhile we have witnessed the players Nygryn and McCowan not putting in the required effort when it matters on the field of play. What is this nonsense about Hatate who clearly looked like he was coming back into his effective role in the team is being shafted for players who evidently either don't break a leg when it comes to effort or say in the case of Tounekti is pathetic in his efforts to shift the ball to his right foot and get a shot in. Hatate supposedly "going thro the motions" against Rangers is an infinite upgrade on those 3 wánkers. There's 4  at the back then you could have Hatate in front of Engels and McGregor, doing something different other that effin square ball after effin square ball, ie ball travels down the right wing,  pass it backwards then across to the left wing, run into a cul de sac, pass it backwards, rinse and repeat until the genius of Kelechi just happens to intervene in this dross and strike home with elegance.

Yeah like giving penalties away or getting sent off. I've said this before...Hatate reminds me of the GAA midfielder who makes 3-4 world class catches that are out of this world and has the crowd drooling over it and saying that man is brilliant but they don't see the 1-04 the other midfielder scored in the game that he was supposed to mark...Hatate is a bit like that, he lazy, he gives the ball away, he's lost his discipline (red card in vital game), he's given lazy penalties away and he simply can't be relied on when the men are in the trenches. The fact that he can do something great 1 in every 5 games is not enough, he walks about the place like he's in a huff and can't even be bothered to join in the huddle before the match (not that has any bearing on his performances) but for me it's all about him and he's a selfish w**ker who I'd have sold last year.
He may well come on in some game and score the winner to possibly get us the title but it still won't change my mind on him.

I thought Celtic had a no nonsense trainer from Dundee who would kick the hell out of any lazy bollixes?

Celtic need to bring out the Thompson guns tomorrow to take advantage of this result, of which I would never say I told you so.

All you can ask is to have a title race in your own hands. Celtic win 3 games, they win the league.

3 tough games though. Havent beat Rangers or Hearts in the league this season and were well beat last time at Fir Park.

Shit show of a season but must win tomorrow.
