Cookstown were county champions at u14 last year, probably was a no brainer to assume they were grade 1 although originally graded at 2 before the Hokey Cokey of club appeals started and grades changed a lot from 1st draft.

Plenty of games have been moved. So I'm not sure why Cookstown couldn't get a game moved. 

Dromore played Aghyaran tonight, there have been a few mid week games. Omagh played Galbally on a Sunday.

There are a few games moved, dont know the reasons for the move. I agree Saturday morning at 11am is a disaster for most parents that have lads playing multiple sports.

What is going on with the Under 14 grade 1? Some of the scorelines? Cant be good for young players? How is the grading determined

U14 is always a bit of a random one as you don't have any real data to grade on. This year definitely got a few bad results. Plus too many coaches too worried about winning things rather than putting their club at the right grading.

Cookstown-Omagh seems to be off on Saturday as well. Not even saying Cookstown are to blame for anything here, don't know who is, just really bizzare

Seen a few clubs with floodlights getting the U14 games on Friday nights or midweek.

Some serious hammerings dished out at boys and girls U14 level. That's no good for either team.

Cookstown doing Cookstown things. Always discontent and dysfunction about them as a club. Hard to know if they will survive in Intermediate this year. Even harder to know where they will be in 5 years time.

Cookstown will get a few handy pts giving to them this year considering relationships between Cookstown and Greencastle's management for example. That is of course if Greencastle get safe early. Few others as well will give a helping hand to Cookstown.

For anyone interested created a wiki page for U-21 club championship which also includes the more recent U-19 and U-20 competitions. Only final venue not 100% sure of is the 2012 G2 Final. Teamtalk article morning of the final said it was going to be played in Edendork but archived results which can no longer be found said the Hurling pitch in Dungannon. Anyway a lot of history of those 50 odd years.
