Game can change so quickly on a turnover that then leads to a team having to get their own kick outs away. Roscommon had a spell about 20 minutes into the second half which steadied things for them with a few points before the late goal settled it.

Roscommon proved their worth against the wind when most thought Donegal would go on to win.  If Roscommon at least reach the last 8 of the championship to go along with this league campaign it will be a good first year under new and local manager Mark Dowd.

Great win for the Rossies. The winner of Mayo/Roscommon will make final if Donegal don't meeting kerry in final.

Dubs won't beat Galway down there and Monaghan relegated today.

There was a foul on one of Armagh players last night. Looked like the guy wrapped his arms around the waist of our player and dragged him down. Why was that not a black? I accept that being in the stand the ref was a lot closer than I was but I thought that was why the black was brought in

Sorry pal. The ref is never ever wrong. Every ref always makes the right decisions and as a mere mortal I should never question any decision they make and just sit back and accept it instead of wondering why some refs will call it and some won't. Apologies mate

Didn't watch all of the game so didn't see that. But my point is this, these are the best we have, they make the judgement, rightly or wrongly depending on who you support.

It's pointless though to actually have a ref running around the pitch, big tennis umpires chair in the middle would suffice considering that's were most of the 'actual' ref's are
