Just finished 5 episodes of the Quinn family story, not the easiest listen at times but it is frightening the way govt officials can act with impunity and they would put any of us plebs in jail for not paying a TV licence or causing some emotional offence. Mafia by a different name!

A bit of a perfect storm when you factor in AI, a sense of entitlement among some graduates and the fact that their degrees are useless.  I see one individual did a Degree in Spanish and French but is struggling to find a job, unless you were planning to be a teacher what did they expect.

It is hard on kids nowadays, as a father of kids that have come out of Uni they may not get that perfect job but they have been working since the age of 16 so they have that work experience in multiple roles and not afraid to take the next job until their best one comes along.

So people will apply for 50 specific roles and the employer, well within his rights will pick the best candidate and that will be because they want someone coming into the role with the least amount of training required and experience.

Some of the degrees are plain useless and this really needs looked at

How many people on here would be confident if they lost their job tomorrow would be employed by the following week? Now I'm not saying going into that perfect job but working none the less to continue the cash flow?

I'd happily drop back to my manufacturing roles if it came to the crunch, others may just sit and mope.

I'm coming close to that age where people may think you are too old, but financially you are no where near the age to retire
