Loved Leftovers as well, right up my street. Very high on my all time favourites list.

Why so?  This is my first one with "normal people" as I joined the celeb bandwagon.

I don't think the normies are as likeable as they were in previous years personally - Why I've been a bit uninterested when watching
That's the same for me. I think part of that is down to people on later series of any new show trying to make a name for themselves. The doll from Newry and the oul doll from Wales are a case in point - both would give you the skitter. Main Character Energy the young ones call it.

I though Rachel was playing a good game. That Welsh tool has decided to wreck the game for no reason ffs, secret traitor my hole what a twit

Looked like the Welsh woman was ragin at how well Rachel was playing it and could envisaged her winning it alone.

An Watcher

Nah, not too fussed on that Rachel doll

She has grown on me a tiny amount but I'd say she's a smug dose in the real world.

Been watching Mr & Mrs Smith on Prime, dunno how I've missed this, great show. I assume it's been highly rated.

SouthOfThe Bann

First season fairly good, second season poor enough but just switch your brain off and it's enjoyable enough. The women are easy on the eye at least .

We've watched 3 episodes on the back of the recommendations here. Enjoyable, but, jeez it's grim Benny!

Very handy on the eye alright.

Couple of episodes in still weighing it up but seems decent without setting the world alight.

Milltown Row2

Finished Stranger Things, this was a show my kids got into when they were kids! They probably only watched 2 episodes and never bothered with it.. Great over all, good journey for them and I'm sure the cast are glad they are finished with it..

I suppose it could be left open for more, I thought the fat kid was hiding something at end lol but maybe not..

Anyways hoping for some new decent sci-fi stuff coming soon

I love a good time traveling type show

Watched that run away on netflix with Nesbitt. I did enjoy it but once you start thinking about it, it's completely ridiculous what's going on ;D

In fairness there wasn't 20 different stories going on like some of his stuff, easy enough to watch and for my wife to sit through it and sorta enjoy it that's a positive, I am getting bored of the explaining the storyline as I go along but she's the attention span of a 2 year old

Finished His&Hers last night.. decent show, not dissimilar to a Coben show

Newbridge Exile

Its been out for a while but I just recently came across a show called Jack Irish (a crime drama set in a very unglamourous suburb of Melbourne )starring Guy Pearce , its  no Wire/ Sopranos but a good watch

Set myself up with a soundbar and surround sound system for Christmas and it really makes a difference and sounds great for Stranger Things , wish I bought one sooner.

not to take away from the TV shows topic, but what kind of sound bar / surround sound setup did you go for given your wiring prowess. All bluetooth?
It's probably a bit on the basic side considering you can spend beyond €2k on some systems but after a bit of research this one got very good reviews most places I looked

https://www.currys.ie/products/hisense-ax5125h-5.1.2-wireless-sound-bar-with-dolby-atmos-and-dts-virtualx-10262409.html?utm_source=awin&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_campaign=Bidnamic&aw_affid=786113&awaid=5297&gclid=CjwKCAiA3-3KBhBiEiwA2x7FdLH7IQOyTj9_2-WEgEmuu3Bi612lWyFAVkaJznYufwujJBwKbSCpxxoCcQQQAvD_BwE&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=23101696070&gbraid=0AAAAA-gP1JO79trSOSUlTDW3otgTyeF1p

As regards connections, the bar is connected via eARC HDMI to the TV and the sub and rear speakers do need a mains supply power source but they are connected via Bluetooth to the main soundbar.
I'm very happy with it while knowing I'm sure there are far better sounding systems but also with a far bigger price tag.

Out of curiosity, any issue with the sound syncing to what's actually being said on the TV. My oul fella has a sound bar and I always like the Bluetooth connection leaves a slight lag that annoys the life outta me
No lag at all, but I've the soundbar connected with a HDMI cable to the eARC port so I presume that's why . The Bluetooth part is only for the rear and sub woofer speakers.
Check and see does the soundbar have the hdmi or optical connections and that should sort it.
Hi LL, looking at this yoke myself. Used to have an older 5.2.1 Sony set up but it was a bit of a nightmare (I'm not that technical tbh!!). Had to connect to the output of the sky box rather than the tv itself. so when using a Firestick, it didnt work. Just became a pain. So am I right in saying that this just Plugs into the tv? Is it the output hdmi slot on the tv?
Just want to be sure before I order.
