What's scaring off bidders is the size of their current contracts. Hardly his fault. Obviously you can overdo criticism but there must also be standards and you don't walk on eggshells round bad behaviour.

Dumping on players who were away on loan was foolish. He wants them off the wage bill, so criticism was unnecessary and unprofessional. It was a factor in the sacking.

Whether it had or hadn't it would have absolutely no bearing on another club taking them on. If a player is value they will get no end of suitors.

Players, coaches and managers move around all the time from club to club and country to country sharing ideas, knowledge and gossip. Managed to draw with one shot on target. A more clinical team would have scored 5 or 6 goals from the big goal scoring chances United created tonight.

Hard to believe United would have gone 4th with a win tonight. Play Arsenal,Man City in the next two Premier league games so should be well off 4th after those games.

Typical bullshit from a lot of people- he has a poor game he's absolutely shite, he scores a few and he's a world beater. Like most things, the truth is somewhere in the middle. He's a young striker with lots to learn but lots of potential, those couple of goals will hopefully do a lot for his confidence.

It's a sign of the brutal way the club is run that he's their main striker at this stage of his career. Fergie always had at least 1 top top goal scorer in the team.

If you actually watch the play, I'm surprised at times he doesnt just walk off. The amount of runs that he makes down the channel or in behind waiting on a decent pass, only for the player in possession to make an easy square pass.

Must be frustrating as hell.

Back on it? He was hardly lighting up the league prior to his trip to Turf Moor, probably the first glimmer that whoever comes in could make a player out of him. Hojlund 6 months in was looking more equipped to be a starting striker than Sesko.
