Good point re the average age.

I like Gobshites team. Personally id squeeze Turluc Muldoon (Eglish) in.

Have to say I was very surprised to see Mattie Donnelly in there at 6. Thought Carmen deserved at least 1 aswell with McGarrity and Loughran having 2 very good campaigns but obviously you can't get everyone in. Glad to see Dobbs from Loughmacrory in there too, does a lot of the dirty work and plays the kind of role that can go under the radar in terms of credit.

See that they are looking for club refs again due to shortage. Would it not be an idea to have seniors on Friday, intermediate games on Saturday and juniors on Sunday and then just swap the days about week to week? Maybe won't solve it completely but I'd be more interested if it meant I wasn't missing out on my own club playing

You would want to avoid Sunday games as much as possible, players don't want them. The new option would make less stress on referees with single Senior games Friday and single reserve games Saturday.

Convention was postponed until Monday due to adverse weather conditions. There's nothing major on the agenda anyway.

May not be that mad but Cookstown are bringing forward a motion that they can stay in Junior next year as getting relegated is not good for morale. Apparently they could not get a full refund for the open top bus so are postponing it untill next years Junior all Ireland if this motion passes :o . Is there any truth in this?
