Maybe piss?

What would you consider a good lager that can be bought in most Irish pubs?

Munchie

It is pure personal choice , personally I wouldn't be out much, in fact last beer I had out was in Nice over the summer and tried the local brews just for a change. if out I would normally plump for Carlsberg or if not about Heineken, Tennents back in the day but it was more because the union always had offers on it.

Most of the staff in supermarkets have had a 40% wage rise since 2019. Have to pay for it someway.
And they're still vastly underpaid while Tesco etc make billions.

Near 13 quid an hour minimum, most staff are students, it's not a bad rodeo.
Not even 2 pints an in Belfast!

And its only £10 an hour for u21's..

depends where you go

imtommygunn

I bought 3 2 pinters in the Limelight friday night and got 40p change out of 40 quid. Not cheap.

Nothing wrong with carlsberg.  Moretti, Peroni and Heineken are tasty although you'll not get it in the rural pub

I've had many a decent pint of Harp over the years but I wouldn't thank you for Carlsberg at all, don't think I've ever had a good one. Each to their own I suppose. I'm not keen on Peroni or a lot of the european beers that would be brewed in the UK, Madri, estrella dam etc.

Eirdinger is good on draft or by bottle. Einstock icelandic beer is tasty. I drink very little out when at home but when I go somewhere I like to try the local stuff.

Armagh18

Used to be a fan of coors on draft but gone off it recently and would rather a good Guinness. If you're behaving sticking to a few bottles of corona is decent as well

Each to their own is right!

No doubt something cool and hip will have to be pulled out of the air now to make you seem on trend, Harp has always been shocking, anything would taste better than it.

I was corrected a few years ago for referring to "the" Limelight. Apparently it's just "Limelight" these days.

And you're far too old to be in there in the first place!
