The track record of purchasing the last 10 years they'd likely bought a donkey

Utd like shiny things, they don't do very well at rational strategy

Albeit it was Sunderland the new keeper did look comfortable and confident. I think it helped with the two previous keepers looking anything but, so any improvement on that would have been welcomed by the fans.

Good to see and good to keep a clean sheet for a change. De Ligt was straight over to him at the final.

This page is like the media, only interested when we loose a game to stir shit up. Sky & talksport pure joke.

Very controlled performance, utterly dominant first half. We were shafted v Brentford by the ref and VAR, Bruno missing a couple of penalties as well. Things are moving the right direction.
If winning isn't everything, why do they keep score?

If he's any way at the level he could be worth 20 points, and I don't think thats an exaggeration

Sitting exactly half way after opening gambit heading into second international break. 6 points off top, 6 points off bottom 3, Liverpool next, its time to shit or get off the toilet for Ruben

I personally don't believe they're headed in the right direction, far too erratic, job is too big for him

There's definitely signs of promise there and Martinez if he can get fit would be a massive help in that system.

The new goalkeeper as you say will be a serious boost if he's anyway decent which he seems to be. If they could get a point off Liverpool at Anfield it would be massive, this teams mental strength has been brutal so it's unlikely they will.

I'd say they'll need another 22 points to avoid dropping into the Championship

Those 6 pointers against Sunderland and Burnley doing the heavy lifting so far

Senne Lammens had a very promising debut at the weekend. Stopped the shots and commanded the box.
If the keeper issue is now sorted, the club need to go all out and sign Adam Wharton to bottom out on the central midfield problem.
Once that's done, Utd are as good as any of the title chasing teams.

Why would Wharton move to a mid ranking team from one playing European football and challenging for a top 4 spot again this year?

Probably to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world.

Big 4 in the NW should be banned from signing Wharton having missed him under their noses, solid incompetence
