I don't get the clamour for Glasner, Iraola, Potter type candidates - flash in the pan men

Where's the class of 92 when you need them?
He was but the minute you let player power decide to down tools and get a manager sacked you're on a slippery slope.

There's no easy or quick fix here. Wish Rangnick was involved in some respect at the club, he'd the balls to tell it how it is and obviously had an eye for a player.

tiempo

Here's half the problem at Utd, no one wants to listen or collaborate for the greater good, the club is such a cash cow that enrichment seems a primary focus, on-field greatness is secondary. Blasting Dan Ashworth out the door having called him 'best in class' and paid severance for him was insane, and getting rid of someone with consultant level knowledge like Sir Ralf was a total shambles

Any chance the local fans (creatures) riot to get the Liverpool game off to avoid a beating similar to last time? They could always blockade the bus in Manchester, preventing them getting to Anfield?

You not be seeing Potter in the Premier League for a while if again. As someone said recently the real success story at Brighton is Tony Bloom as Brighton have continued to be a solid Premier League side long after Potter's departure.

Next Permanent Man United Manager Paddy Power Odds

For the interest for Tiempo 66/1 is the odds on Roy Keane and other bookies have him at 80/1. For comparison it would be like placing money on Louth to win the football or Wexford to win the Hurling All-Ireland in 2026.

Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Glasner in to play 3-4-3 would be lunacy

4-3-3 there's a team that wins more games than is loses

1 Morgan 2 Yoro 3 Mazaroui 4 Casemiro 5 De Ligt 6 Maguire 7 Mbeumo 8 Mainoo 9 Sesko 10 Bruno 11 Cunha

Remember back in the day there used to be player-managers, could one among them not step up?

Play 433 with 3 centre backs? Come on at least have a good go at wumming. And everyone knows Beggan is better than Morgan :D.

tiempo

In the absence of discernible first choice full backs Yoro likely pulls off a Wes Brown, John O'Shea, Ben White solid effort at RB, with the Moroccan better than any alternative for the other side

Beggan Morgan, tomayto, tomahto 👍

All slagging aside surely De Ligt a far better choice for captain than the Portuguese yapper.

If they'd bought Jordan Henderson a year ago like I said, great captain, bad miss

Brighton looked better under De Zerbi. A lot of hype about Potter because he was from England.

Maroon Manc

Its just a matter of time, players downed tools on Saturday and clearly have no faith in him. Got to wonder if the board had real faith in him this summer, Sesko wasn't his choice and we all knew United were desperate for a midfielder and had no player who resembled a top class wing back.

Its early enough in the season too salvage and a change of the system clearly isn't going to be a problem as it will obviously help. Still a lot of good players in that squad although the squad is thin and there's no way its strong enough too play twice a week but thankfully they won't have that problem.

Finishing in the CL places won't require any more then 65 points and possibly even less, its there for anyone who can put a run together. United's talent is certainly a lot better then results suggest.
