Trillick V Pomeroy - trillick
Errigal Ciaran V Omagh - EC
Edendork V Carrickmore - Carrickmore
Donaghmore V Loughmacrory - Loughmacory

Give me a Carrickmore / Loughmacory semi final :)

YO!

You can be sure that Errigal and Trillick will be kept apart in the semi final. Same as Eglish Clonoe.

Senior Championship predictions

Trillick V Pomeroy - have a spread of scorers that Pomeroy wont be fit to match up with them all. Think Pomeroy give a decent account of themselves but Trillick will pull away.
Errigal Ciaran V Omagh - again think Omagh will give a good account of themselves. Full out Omagh are still a decent team and have good defenders to match up to an extent with Errigals forwards. Midfield will likely prove to be the winning of the game for Errigal and Omagh probably lacking a forward or two to really challenge to get the result.
Edendork V Carrickmore - Fullerton and Munroe back are massive for Carrickmore and immediately make them a 5-10 point better team. Conditions in Pomeroy could play a big part however which could be tricky and the wind will favour Edendorks big kickers in Morgan and McCurry. Still think Carrickmore now they've players back from injury and travelling.
Donaghmore V Loughmacrory - Loughmacrory better all round - while both have dangerous forward lines, Loughmacrory's are more established and experienced and defensively match up better. Midfield should favour Loughmacrory with the Donaghys but Donaghmore showed against Galbally they are stronger around the middle than people give them credit for.

Be great to see Errigal V Trillick and Carrickmore V Loughmacrory in the Semi Finals. Would prefer not to see the same final for the third year in a row.

My suspension is up - Didnt think this place was moderated .... will mind my manners from now.

Enjoyed the Intermediate Semis particluarly Aghaloos win against a shite Beragh Team - Good Players in Beragh but a shit team for some reason?
Moy give a masterclass against those Rockians - Saw a video on Conroy on Tik Tok looks like he retired that Enda McWilliams tube in public!
Eglish stuttering a bit but if Big Cahal can find his 2018 form they where in trouble! But then as everyone says teams are just playing in different gears so it doesn't matter!
As for Clonoe freewheeling into the Semis - theres a lot of talk about Kildress on here recently must be a crowd of lads in Mill Wheel on there phones ... Could someone not just start a ladies discussion board to get rid of them. Did they win the ladies this year?

Senior

Donaghmore flower boys will make mince meat of Loughmacrory
Errigal will tear Omagh a new one
The lads from Pomeroy will be the upset of the round - Heard John Loughran finally off the drink and back training
Carrickmore think its there year as they have tradition :O Been a while since they had the tradition on the mantle piece

As for Junior
Jayo has an open top bus booked to go past Mulligans up to Belfast House. But they are getting off at Sheehys in case the prods fire stones at them!

Agreed except flower boys will not beat Loughmacrory. IMO

Quote from: Tyrone95 on September 23, 2025, 09:54:02 AMTrillick v Pomeroy - Talk that Pomeroy management walked- Trillick by a landslide
Errigal v Omagh - Could be closer than some think - Errigal by 6
Edendork v Carrickmore - Up for grabs.. Carmen by 1 or Draw
Donaghmore v Loughmacrory - Draw

Why would Pomeroy management walk if they are awaiting a senior championship QF?

ShoresOfTyrone

Trillick V Pomeroy - Trillick to come through, Pomeroy to give them a decent game.
Errigal Ciaran V Omagh - One sided affair, Errigal have too many threats for Omagh to deal with.
Edendork V Carrickmore - Tough enough contest, Carmen seemed to have found more of a game plan but think Edendork have just enough to edge it.
Donaghmore V Loughmacrory - Impressed by Donaghmore in RD1 but think Loughmacrory will come out on top if they aren't as complacent at the back like they were against Killyclogher.

DouglasBridgeExile

Trillick V Pomeroy - Trillick by 10
Errigal Ciaran V Omagh - this game could be level right up to the 3rd minute. After that errigal let the handbrake off
Edendork V Carrickmore - is mccurry in the boot this week protecting the foot? if so, edendork by 2
Donaghmore V Loughmacrory - sure to be the best game of the weekend. Would nearly hope for a draw just to watch it twice

bringbackdregish

All the young lads from Kildress with the fake accounts have been very quiet  :-X  :o   ;D

TheDergView

Trillick v Pomeroy - 10pts minimum.
Edendork v Carrickmore - seen the league game, Fullerton back gives Carmen the edge I think. Young cormac munroe to stifle Stephen corr.
Loughmacrory v Donaghmore - Expecting a tight game, maybe not as tight as draw game in the league. Lough by 4.
Errigal v Omagh - as someone said above Omagh will be in the game until the 3rd minute.

County board will never allow Trillick and EC to meet in semi so Carmen V Errigal and Trillick v Lough semis.
What's the story with Pomeroy manager?Seems a very strange one after a win last week v Gortin and the same opponents in the play offs?

Apparently these 2 men are in talks with AFL teams is this true?

Ballygawleyftw

Predictions:

Trillick by a landslide - Pomeroy management in disagreement with committee looking more dingo dollars for winning 1 Championship game.

Errigal - Fancy a tighter game for us than Ardboe - 7 point W #TOWIE

Lough - Dmore with a few injuries. Interested to watch Joey Clarke vs Macilholm

Carrickmore - Fancy the stoops to bow out here. Weak minded and the Farmers from Carmen will have enough firepower.

Would really love to see Errigal Vs Trillick - Semi Final. (County Board im sure the opposite) Would add to the level of competitiveness if last years two finalist could draw in the semi final and not like every other county would have these two teams meeting in the final every year, again we are lucky to have such a competition with more than 2 good teams when in fact we have 8 possible teams who could it every year. At the moment 7 although due to draw & of course Pomeroy wont play senior football to the next decade after this game at the weekend.

If our boys strike a bit of luck Vs Loughmacrory. We could potentially take the winner of the two above in the final.
If its not this year, its next year and if not, its the year after. Grateful to have hope because its all you want to have for your team when its over you can still hold your head high especially after all the work going into our club. Teams like Carrickmore, Omagh, Errigal, Trillick, Dromore, Clonoe & Coalisland blessed to have a lot of years of being in the chance to win an Oneill cup.  It is great considering how hard it is every year. Would make it even sweeter to come up and take Ballygawley/Trillick down a peg or 2. Reaching a semi final would be bonus territory for us this year considering the hard draw. Although to win it you sometimes have to go the hard road to earn the tag "worthy champions"
