Stall the Bailer

Not all club players have played 3 games, Beragh have only played 1, div 3 have 5 played and most of the reserves and 3a have played 8.

Whole thing is a joke. It just doesn't make sense. Youve teams in Senior and Intermediate who have been on the go for an age with no games. Then Div 3 was held up for Fintona and it's only underway.

But the biggest joke is the 3A. 20 league games and have 7 double game weekends in a row now. Ive seen some of the lads playing in it, and they are not built for that load! But becasue they are the lower clubs nothing will be done about it.

Wildweasel74

Derry at R10 out of 15, this wkend.

Grace Murphy

USADA about to swoop in Newtownstewart

Jayo saying double double will happen and on course for Oneill cup 2027 (claiming last years junior double as they shouldn't have been beaten)

Quote from: Easttyrone23 on June 13, 2026, 09:24:56 AMDivision 3 league looks to be a 2 horse race between stewartstown and glenelly. Fintona will have to go all out for the championship to get back to intermediate. Derrytresk and augher are holding their own.

In division 2 Naomh eoghan, Owen roes and cookstown have all got off to a flyer. Both Naomh eoghan and Owen roes were around the promotion playoffs last season so both will fancy their chances to compete for promotion this season. clubs like pomeroy, derrylaughlan and Moy will get better as the season goes on. Aghayarn and killeeshil already look like they will once again be in a relegation battle.

In division 1 Carmen, Galbally and eglish are the 3 teams with a 100% record so far although Eglish have certainly had the most impressive start to the league winning all 3 games having come up from intermediate.

The likes of Errigal, Trillick and donaghmore haven't had great starts to the league but you have to take into account the county players their playing without.

Dungannon who usually start the season well have had a disastrous start so far. In their first game they were 10 points up at half time in their home ground and ended up losing by 9. Their second game which was also at home they lead for majority of the game and still lost. Then their third game they got hammered away to Carmen.

There was a clonoe man on this forum last year who called Galbally a yoyo team. Since Galbally got promoted to senior football after winning the intermediate league in 1991 (35 years ago) they've been relegated back to intermediate 3 times. Clonoe are on course for their 3rd relegation to intermediate not only in a Row but in the last 5 seasons.
No call for the last part of this post. Harsh enough talking about relegation this early into the league. Dungannon 0/3 as you've stated but no mention of relegation? There's still a lot of football to be played yet. Talk about relegation maybe 8/9 games into the campaign, but not 3. Crazy stuff.

The Omagh_Ostrich

The Cranagh men flying in div3, fintona not get it as easy as they thought even tho missing few last they'd of thought winning would be handy.. was good to see Liam Nicholas back playing senior ball, might not have the legs anymore or the feet to pick a kick pass or know where to be when the ball is kicked in but good too see him back

Not a word about us being top of 3B...if (just saying) we win junior champo do we go straight up to 2?

The neighbours killeter struggling in D2, has there time come to an end? Hopefully we meet them next year in 3A

On other news me uncle was up in pomeroy other night, says Dregishstewart have 1 hand on the div2 league trophy already.
At this point do pomeroy, DKB, moy, gortin etc focus on the paddy Cullen?

Is it still 7 starred games now that all games are worth two points or is it back to 5 starred?

Double game week next week will be the 4th and 5th rounds so assuming it is 7 starred games to allow the leagues to continue until at least the July break?

Club Physio arrived to setup table etc. early today in his brand new solid Gold Range Rover.

Bank gave him a loan on the strength of tyrones victory at the weekend and another double fixture week which is sure to increase his workload.

Fixtures and times announced. I'm sure there are a fair few clubs who wont field reserve teams on Thursday evening.

3A is a JOKE! Teams now forced to play Monday, Thursday & Sunday this week then double fixtures right through when in fact the league could have been started in April finished by end of July into championship with no double weeks.

What you'll have now is, the clubs that aren't in contention for top of the league they'll start to concede games to get players fit for championship.

Some tasty games this thursday

Dromore vs galbally
trillick vs eglish -
coalisland vs donaghmore-
edendork vs killyclogher
omagh vs ardboe -

D'laughan vs aghyaran - aghyaran debating on chartering a plane like cork or leaving donegal on wedneaday morning for the game. Be as well conceding it to be honest
kildress vs kileeshil- Fancy kileeshil to give the ladies team another defeat. Wouldnt watch it if it was in the back garden right enough
clogher vs pomeroy - clogher will have the tails up after that win at the weekend. still fancy pomeroy
Greencastle vs beragh - The midgey capital of tyrone. Greencastle by 2
owen roes vs moy - the moy another team may charter a plane. fancy owen roes
aghaloo vs drumquin - drumquin to win this handy
Naomh eoghan vs gortin - Game of the night, naomh eoghan by 5
Cookstown vs rock - draw all over it

WesternBaller

Dromore vs Galbally
Trillick vs Eglish
Coalisland vs Donaghmore
Edendork vs Killyclogher
Omagh vs Ardboe

D'laughan vs Aghyaran - If Aghyaran lose this they may pack the bags
Kildress vs Kileeshil- Kildress should clinch these crucial 2 points
Clogher vs Pomeroy - Pomeroy need this to keep a realistic shot of a league title alive
Greencastle vs Beragh - The castle will quit the football, start the boxing and see it through
Owen Roes vs Moy - Owen Roes train keeps rolling with conroy on the sideline
Aghaloo vs Drumquin - Aghaloo to be relegated, unfortunate they cant seem to stick the landning in D2
Naomh Eoghan vs Gortin - Cant call it, big game for both parties
Cookstown vs Rock - City slickers walk this i think.
