A three team Round Robin would imply a 'three way relegation play off '!

Ahoghill bottom I think. Table not updated but result in. By my calculations they have -26 and St Paul's have -22. I think aghagallon and St Paul's are on same score difference. What happens there?

Wee Barky

St brids top the group with a +46 point difference. The lack of quality opposition could hurt them when the real business starts.

I could be wrong here but I'm nearly sure in a three way tie on points it comes down to score difference in the games played between those three teams. This has been the case in the Hurling Championships or so I'm lead to believe. So that would be Ahoghill bottom on -13, St Paul's would be on +1 and Aghagallon on +12.

Tables updated and aghagallon second. My maths was way off on their score difference.

Dunloy st brigids and aghagallon cargin.

First one a tasty one.

Before I start it had absolutely no bearing on the result ..

But how can a ref decide at half time they think one of dunloys 2 pointers was just 1 and deduct a point after giving it at the time?

Happened in line with my view, was definitely inside the arc. Like 2 or 3 metres easy.

Good call then but nobody was told at the time.

So it is likely to be a three team relegation play off round between TNN (14th League);Aldergrove(8th); Ballymena (4th) or Lamh Dearg(7th), who play tomorrow.

Two of those clubs were heavily involved in 'setting up' thd 16 team division 1, two years ago.

The current format is subject to review in the autumn...that will be interesting!

GNM look to be favourites for relegation in IFC.

He evened it up by counting  john mcnabbs last point (which was clearly a 2 pointer) as a one point.

Take the Mark

It wasnt that clear.

He was only 3 metres outside the arc and the ref was a whole 5 yards away. As shown on Jerome Quinns fine video footage.

Disgraceful if gnm do get relegated on the back of an officiating error

They should have been relegated last year but got a reprieve
Let no-one say the best hurlers belong to the past. They are with us now, and better yet to come
