The quality is shocking compared to O'Neills, couple of washes and the jerseys are in bits.
Dont even consider putting them in the dryer. Never had an issue with the O'Neills gear.
They used to get summer camp jerseys from a company called MFC which were top quality also, now these McKeever jerseys they got are rubbish.

Always been a huge fan of O'Neills gear, have 1/4 zips / polo and training tops that are 10 / 15 years old and as good as the day they were bought. Same style tops the last year or 2, nowhere near the same quality. Starting to fray and bobble within a couple of months

Oneills gear is expensive but it really will last and last.

I was in O'Neills last week and I saw they still have various older style county jerseys in the 'outlet' section.

When I mean older style, I mean older style i.e. 4 or 5 years ago county jersey.

They must still make them and then they offload them for £15. Must be good money in that. Especially for parent who don't want to fork out top dollar for a new jersey.

It's just old stock. When you're punting jerseys for £60 a pop they can afford to have a surplus every time counties change to newer designs.

McKeevers seem to have made real inroads though, loads of clubs making the switch.

Old stock from 4 or 5 years ago.

Playr-Fit make really decent stuff, though I'm not sure if you can use them for playing jerseys due to some outdated rule the GAA has. Training gear and other items are very good though.

MFC is poor also. Club my kids are with use them. Quality is.poor and the sizing is horrendous. Oneills is miles ahead of alot of the rubbish out there.

Our lads got a load of Playr-fit stuff a couple of years ago and it's been great wearing. Their soccer team has their stuff too and it's lasted really well. They've grew out of it but it's still in great shape - their old adidas kits went in the bin after 1 year.

We have MFC jerseys that have been passed down from the oldest to the youngest that must be 5 or 6 years old now and they are still in great shape.
The McKeever won't last a few months nevermind 6 years!
Nordie Tayto is shite

The MFC gear is v good imo. The wains school PE kit is MFC, it takes a fair bit of abuse and holds up really well. Outfield gear looks very nice. Have never owned any McKeever stuff

Minus15

Have had MFC, Outfield and Playr-Fit in our house.

I like them all as an alternative to O'Neills. Fine for kids.

O'Neills is still the best but their customer service is hopeless.

I've dealt with MFC for a number of club orders and found them excellent in that regard.

Have posted a few times here over the last few years. O'Neill's playing jerseys are the only good thing least about them. Quality of the rest of their athletic and leisurewear has gone to shit.

We're with McKeever and they're the opposite. Have had some issues with jerseys, but the leisurewear is really good quality.

Opposite experience here. Having had both club and county with McKeever, apart from playing jerseys the rest is poor quality.

Was gifted Armagh tracksuit bottoms for Christmas couple of years back, the zip at the bottom broke almost immediately. Our club was with McKeever, again another pair of tracksuit bottoms the seam on one of the legs split after less than a year. Training top threads started pulling out after a couple of months. They messed up some of our orders, and I know they ballsed up pretty badly with a neighbouring club.

Everything I go to give clothes away or throw out, there's always some O'Neill's item that I hold on because it's too good to get rid of.
