I would be hopeful but far from confident on the upcoming year - we are coming from a really low ebb here. Could take a while to see real progress, some younger players will need to answer the bell

Settled management team with a smile on their faces key advantage in place and with Porter on strength and conditioning (and psychological well-being) that adds a key part that was sloppily missed in the last while. Prospects are good and lets hope Errigal put a great marker down in Sunday but it will v tough against well prepared home team.

Cuts coming this week, cutting the panel from 45 to 35. A development panel also being created with about 15 players on it that will be a mix of players coming out of U20 and not ready for Senior panel yet and Intermediate and Junior players.

That's no punishment for anyone sent off in the later stages of the AI series, as they may never get to that stage again. I actually think he is suspended in his next club championship match which is first round in Tyrone SFC in 2025 but I stand corrected

Just going by the Stewartstown players that got straight reds in AI Junior Final 2 years ago were then able to play in 1st Round of Tyrone.

New to the board.. interested to see the new rules in place this weekend, has anyone heard how things are in the camp? Whispers that Fermanagh overturned our lads a few weeks ago does not sound too promising.

Things very quiet indeed, must be a deliberate ploy from MOR. Don't know what to expect this weekend. New rules would certainly suit Tyrone in an attacking sense, but not sure about the defensive side of things

ps. Not over my fear of new accounts after the debacle during the club championship last year

Yeah, a pity to be honest.. in an ideal world we would have more access to our inter county teams but ah well. Has there been any new faces/cuts made? Would be interested to see some of our young lads get a good crack at it with these new rules!
