With Teague, Brennan, r Donnelly, T McCann plus the young call ups should help in comparison to last year

Depth should be a lot better. Roughly  two good options per position and not counting any U20 call up from 2025 panel which might also happen.
Corner back and wing back and forward positions obviously very up for grabs.

No harm but Danny Fullerton is 10 times the forward Quinn & McShane are. Don't know why Burns is down as a number 12. Is him & Meyler not finished? And as for Cassidy, would he not be better off helping the 'Donaghmore in bloom' crowd.

Good positive post with a bit of club bias thrown in. If them players all commit the squad will be massively stronger than last year. I think Tyrone will also benefit from the rule changes as have some great inside forwards who will thrive with that wee bit more space. Still doubts over fitness of some key players from 2021 but with the returning players and u20 players coming through the squad should be able cope better if some of them do struggle.

Was more focusing on the call ups that have happened and existing squad members. For the record I expect a few Under 20 call ups after they finish - Conor McAneney, Ben Hughes, Callum Daly, Conor O'Neill and Ruairi McCullagh being the obvious ones in my opinion.

imtommygunn

Where does Ruairi Canavan fit? He seems more of a half forward than a corner forward but then county teams seem to be more about workhorses than more skilful footballers in the whf positions these days.

In that case is he worth a run at 11, Tyrone have never really properly had a player nail down 11 since McGuigan hung the boots up?

tiempo

4 shooters up front, Darragh and McCurry nailed on, a plethora of others to choose from and Ruairi must be near the front, anything reminiscent of the Adrian Cush role in the half forwards would be delightful and he looks well capable, 2025 a big year for him in Tyrone colours

McCurry, Canavan & Bradley inside with Ruairí pulling the strings at 11.

Ruairí is far better than that Adrian Cush. He actually steps up when he is needed & is a big game player. Ruairí has a bit of fight in him - he wouldn't run a mile if someone popped a paper bag beside him..

Your argument is invalid on Fullerton (22 years of age), no harm. Mark Bradley was the only forward in Tyrone that had a good championship - Eoin McElhom too maybe. Fullerton kicked more in the championship against Dromore & Killyclogher (2 top sides) than Darragh Canavan did against Pomeroy & Clonoe (2 poor sides).  Danny was also man marked by the other teams best 2 defenders with a sweeper in front in the games against Dromore & Killyclogher. During the league he hit 3-09 against Clonoe & was even taken off in the 40th minute. Toasted Michael McKernan vs Coalisland. Finished 2nd Top Scorer in the scoring charts & would have been 1st if Ardboe hadn't have fielded their minors on last day of league vs Dungannon with Paul Donaghy scoring a hat-trick of goals. Fullerton only going to get better.

That's a strong list of 35 players detailed above and if all can stay fit and interested then surely that leaves Tyrone is a strong position for the season ahead.
However, Fullerton possibly deserves a chance, although admitted haven't seen much of him lately but he has regularly been at the top end of the scoring charts. Every other forward on those charts seems to have got an opportunity.
Carmen1932 - does he have the pace to cope with the potential new rules regards 3v3 inside half way?. Pace will be a vital component in the county game going forward if these new rules get passed which seems likely

Fullerton doesn't get a chance because of previous Tyrone underage managers. They seem to hold grudges on people who leave for not getting enough game time like Paul Donaghy. They believe in bringing in 'project' lads from the developing teams that have been using mini bands for the last 10 years though.

I think he has. Aggressive on the ball too & very good at movement.

The new rules will suit him as there will be more space to get the ball kicked in to him too. Very effective & a real goal scorer.

Don't see how he gets game time with the two Canavans, McElholm, McCurry and Bradley.
