Oh and Payton was moronic too. They only needed the tie to make it and gave it back to them the last time with over two mins in the clock after some terrible play calls.

Looked like a team that are planning on a high draft pick.

Quote from: gallsman on December 29, 2024, 01:26:18 AMThat was mad. Terrible clock management and play calling from Taylor but they got out of jail free. Not convinced Higgins' one down the sideline should have counted but Mims' TD definitely shouldn't have either  ;D.

Bengals win keeps door open for Colts and Dolphins too. Colts have Giants and Jags. Bengals go to Pittsburgh. Denver at a second string Chiefs. Lots of permutations but think whoever makes it in, Chargers are the only one of the WC teams with a chance of upsetting Chiefs, Bills or Ravens, and it ain't a big chance. Steelers falling off a bit having not had any divisional games until W11. If they go to Houston, the Texans might win. Chargers would beat them though.

Both probably wrong but when called on the field as Touchdown/completion there probably wasn't enough to 100% categorically overturn them.

Most likely, although after a few looks I thought Mims' one could have been easily enough. Ball was bobbling around all over the place! Would have been a real shame though as it was a terrific play. Bengals D stinks.

Been watching some of the basketball and American football while enjoying time off. It's been pretty tight and tense in the games I've watched.

The skill level in basketball is unreal
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

I used to love basketball but can't be bothered with it now as the season is so long. 82 game season so the regular season is more like shadow boxing for a lot of teams.

82 games and at the end of them, 20 of the 30 teams in the league are still in with a shout. Regular season hasn't mattered for years, but it's ridiculous with them play in games.

Baseball is worse in terms of the season length although fewer teams make the post season at least.

162 game season in it but I do love the saying about no matter how good or bad you are, you'll win 50 games and lose 50 games so it's what you do in the other 62 that matter.

Basketball not a inch what it was in the 1990's.

In the 1990s. Most team had a big star. Now it's about trying to build a super team.

New York Giants are so bad they can't even get themselves the number one draft pick 🙈

Some performance from the Colts to eliminate themselves from contention too.

The NFL is just baffling at times. Sometimes a coach just gets the other one's number and the maddest things happen.

Eagles set to rest Barkley. Booooooo!

Quote from: gallsman on January 01, 2025, 07:14:57 PMEagles set to rest Barkley. Booooooo!

The only way he was playing was if the Eagles seeding could change but we're 2 seeds no matter what happens so it's the right thing to do. We had an early bye this season so getting rest will be crucial to a lot of the players.
