Yeah i think his issue isn't as black and white as he was asked to call someone they/them or something along those lines. From what I could gauge he actively looked for a problem here rather than it finding him and it mushroomed from there. It has been made into a woke / anti woke thing for easy headlines / traction.

Reality is the fella is nuts. He could still be there in twenty years time waiting at that gate.

gallsman

I'm not sure he's nuts. Just a ****.

The ballots are on the way .

Enough is enough.

Wanted.  Forwards to take frees.
Not fussy.  Any sort of ability will be considered

On pay?  Most teachers I know are more stressed by workload and bureaucracy. Right ballot, wrong topic?

Why does it take so long for them to agree day deals should these not be agreed year on year like most other places or is this a deliberate ploy based on the fact if agree every year they are likely to threaten to strike every year?

GTP

The last pay deal teachers got was for 2021-24 so no pay deal was agreed in any of those years, which has the knock-on effect of meaning the 24/25 pay deal has not been negotiated and is the current cause of potential strike action.
I stand to be corrected but they whilst negotiated annually they may not be agreed every year on the terms offered or negotiated.

I'd say this is closer to the position of our teaching fraternity. Too many are now accustomed to ASOS and would happily forego a pay rise to go back to that.

Main action is to boycott inspections. And they had just got going after about  5 years

ONeill

I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

Dougal Maguire

I see Enoch has turned up for work today. It would take more than a blizzard to keep that man away from school
Careful now

Not sure why they bother putting that in the news any more. If he's not in jail it seems he is at the school. He'll keep at it for a long time the same boy I imagine.

Teachers on industrial action again from next Monday
Must apply for a job as a schools inspector

Is there no one in the locale who is interested in a little community policing when it comes to this clown?

Kind of surprised he hasn't had the shite beat out of him yet, to be honest. Not that I am advocating for that, but it just surprises me that no one has brought any of this family down yet.

You're surprised someone hasn't attacked his sisters or parents? Jesus Christ.

Not exactly what I said, at all.

There is vigilantism all over the country. None of it justified. Was momentarily curious that nothing has been directed at a notorious family of main character bad actors repeatedly disrupting their community as well as other communities.

Jesus Christ indeed, you're a touch precious there.
