Trillick v Dungannon

Very tight game. Feel it will be nip and tuck, but Trillick to maintain control in the last 5 minutes and see out the game.

Errigal v Killyclogher

Errigal to get a few soft frees towards the end and win by one or two. However if Bradley is on form he could be hard stopped, been player of the championship so far.

Moortown v Derrylaughan

will be a slug fest, expect hard hits and a lack of quality. Think Derrylaughan will get over the line, hearing reports that the vibes in the moortown camp have taken a hit in the last few weeks.

Moy v Greencastle

Difference will be Conroy and the experience of the Cavnaghs. Moy by 3.

Trillick v Dungannon

Think Trillick edges this one, always a good battle between them

Errigal v Killyclogher

Errigal havent looked as strong in other years lately, you fairly notice the difference without Tommy Canavan in the forward line to draw men away from the Canavan's, think KC want it more given their last few outings

Moortown v Derrylaughan

Derrylaughan will be ready for this game, Think the battle of the loughshore is there for the taking for them. Brian Kennedy to have a stormer here. Going to be game of the weekend I think.

Moy v Greencastle

Throw of the dice here, could go either way in my opinion. If Conroy drags this team through another round fair play to him.

Trillick V Dungannon
Dungannon have had the better of Trillick over the years, with last year being the exception. I expect Dungannon to make up for it this year. The aerial threat of Donaghy and Quinn will be the difference.

Errigal V Killyclogher
Very worrying form shown by Errigal in the Championship, scraping by two relegation threatened teams, even being taken to a replay by Clonoe. If Rafferty and Gorman continue their form and cancel out the Canavans, Killyclogher will progress.

Moortown V Derrylaughan
Derrylaughan have been the form team in the Intermediate Championship to date. Carney and kennedy a strong foundation and with the Gervins fit they can beat Moortown. If Derrylaughan mark McLernon and Lawn, Moortown will struggle to score.

Moy V Greencastle
Greencastle have good defenders and have the personnel to match up with Conroy, Coleman and the Cavanaghs. In McCullagh they have a very under appreciated and overlooked talent who has performed at a high level for a number of years. The boost of boys back from Australia gives them some useful impact from the bench which could be key. Shane Meehan's performance could be key for Moy if he is very whistle happy and presents Conroy with opportunities.

Isn't every team the form team in this stage of the championship?lol
They've all won 2 games

Dungannon vs Trillick
It will go down to the wire no doubt, Dungannon always seem to be at right end of the result when their games are in the Balance.

Killyclogher vs Errigal
I would have fancied Errigal like most people from this side of the draw before a ball was kicked but they have been poor over the 3 games they've played. Killyclogher despite looking beat against omagh and carmen (first game) managed to get through, and with the form of Bradley gives me a gut feeling they will edge out Errigal.

Moortown vs Derrylaughan
Was very impressed with moortown the first day out against Fintona. I always see Moortown as well drilled unit that is hard to break down  Although in the quarter final Aghayarn seemed to open them up far to easy and only for a couple of dubious referee calls at the end they may have been beat. I feel like Derrylaughlin will all depend on Carney. If he kicks like he did against clogher then Derrylaughan will have a great chance. I just feel moortown will have learned from their mistakes the last day and have enough to go through to the final.

Moy vs Greencastle
Possibly the toughest game to call this weekend. Might well go down to a shootout between mccullagh and conroy. I just feel with Moy having the experience and cuteness of the cavanaghs may just edge it.

Quote from: Rebel84 on October 04, 2024, 11:19:14 AMIt's hard to see anything but a Trillick win this evening with the injuries the Clarkes have. Trillick with Mattie Donnelly are stronger than in last year's semi.

Who is out injured for the Clarkes? Have seen them with a full deck most of the year?

Can't think of anyone injured. There was word of Donaghy being injured after going off against Loughmacrory but he looked 100% after running about

Ballygawleyftw

Dungannon by 1 tonight, the hard hitting Kevin Barker and the industrious Ben Gormley will see them over the line.

Conroy will probably kick 11 points from 24 shots and Moy edge out the Castle.
Really fancy a Butch Kelly masterclass tomorrow. Man has rejuvenated himself in USA all summer - timing his championship run perfectly.

Hopefully our boys get over the line Sunday, one eye on tonights game for the final. TOWIE

Seen that Gormley fella going down on the ankle a few times, wouldn't be surprised if it was the cameras, seems a bit soft.

Talk going around that Donaghy is injured.

SHORE4SAM

Hearing that young gormley is out for clarkes could be massive he has a massive impact for dungannon both offensively through carrying the ball at a blistering pace and shoring up defence... van Dijk presence

What's a ghost 45? Genuine question

square_ball

Wouldn't be ruling them out just yet but Dungannon have been very poor so far here.
